Great Vlog . Thanks Paul and Mrs C .
It’s great to see how you enjoy your photography. You just turn up and enjoy .
Many Thanks Paul
so many people put pressure on to get it right, i just look and shoot kind of thing and enjoy chatting to you guys while doing it
That rock and surroundings were amazing, and although the walk back along the coast path was hard going, it was worth the effort to see it. I would recommend sticking to the woodland route in both directions though for anyone wanting to visit this location.
We did ok wife xx
What a great place.
Kevin you got to do this sunrise or set
Wonderful share. Thanks !
Your welcome
well done great images and information
i do try to put as much in as i can haha
Brilliant and that great reflection near the end was very well deserved, as was the selfie. Hope you enjoyed the tea room as a reward
Tea room was well neeeded lol
Another great vlog. Calendar ordered.
wow thank you for the support
Bloody awesome location Paul and some epic pictures for sure 👍
Super images, you must be mad lol
Thanks Mr O see you soon mate
a little mad yep hahaha
Your best vlog ever! In your drive in I am reminded of how much I hated driving in the narrow lanes in Cornwall, not because of the narrowness, but because the bloody hedges are so high that you can't see what is going on in the adjacent fields, and the local scenery. Always just knew that I was missing some great photo opportunity.
It’s much easier in the van can see over most hedges hahah
Paul, you did it again. Great photos and fun video. Say hi to Mrs C. Thanks for sharing 👍
your very welcome and thank you for commenting.. Mrs C says hello
Superb watch 🙂
wow thanks buddy
Just ordered the calendar, looking forward receiving it. Nice vlog as always.
Wow that you for the support cheers
Cracking set of shots mate. I went there when I was 15 years old and I am 60 a week today. My grandparents lived in Bath and use to go on summer holidays to Bath. Look forward to your next vlog
well at the moment i have NO MORE vlogs ready it may be a whole week away... boo hoo got loads on the PC just not had time to edit any
Great vlog Paul, with some great images too. Blackchurch is now definitely on my list of locations to visit. You would love Porthcurno and Botallack in Cornwall...well worth a visit...
ill have to have a week traveling around down there its been a couple years now
Great video!!! I really enjoy watching your all's adventures! Just purchased a calendar, can't wait to see it in person. 1st calendar I ever bought. :)
oh my god first one you ever bought i am taken back by that THANK YOU... its looking amazing see the proof yesterday..
Really enjoyed this one.... Thank you Paul and Mrs C
thanks you great stuff
Great and interesting vid. as always so well explained, shots are great and you always give a guide to how they are taken GREAT
thanks buddy for comments these are what i love from you all
You have some really brilliant images there, what a wonderful place, who was responsible for the one thumbs down, they really have to take up a new hobby, great stuff mate, regards.
I just wish people who give thumbs down would explain what the point of it otherwise if you don’t like me don’t watch but if you do an I did something wrong then tell me hahah
I really enjoyed that Paul. A great location for sure and some lovely images. Tip: as well as tying your filters to your camera so they don't fall off... Consider a long rope for your bag and Mrs C so you don't lose them 😂. Good stuff. Looking forward to the next one.
a long rope she would tie a rock to and throw it in haha
Good shots - much better than mine. Went there couple weeks ago to recce for a possible sunrise/set shoot. Didn't know there was the easier route and went the coastal path there and back. Never again I thought and scratched the idea of returning. I felt like I'd walked via Cornwall! But now I know there's an easier path perhaps I will return. Presume/hope you went on to Hartland Quay for sunset.
no i never did any more, went up to Podgy Snappers for tea lol you will have to let me see your images on the LVA group when you get some nice colour
Some really great images, hard won. Well done you. Hope you keep getting more subscribers.
I hope I do as well it’s a great place
Fun Vid, just discovered you and subbed . Some awesome shots, both filming and shooting! top work :)
wow thanks mate, great to have you with us...
Love to see you in my part of the world, travel these lanes daily with work but never managed to stop here yet for a lunchbreak with me camera. Must try it soon
Go do it wow living there you can pick the weather
There will be looked stand out in the stormy day.
a stormy day would be ace
The rock looks great I might have to slap down there, Great images, I keep forgetting to bracket :/ You should get some neoprene sailing boots to ankles with soft grippy sole. Light weight so you can carry them about. Your feet will get damp but stay warm and they are great for pebbles and rocks or standing in a stream.
Wow tell me more about these boots
Great job Paul, I knew I could talk you into including Mrs C in the vlogs. I like the way you are introducing her slowly. You two are going to make a good team. Also you mention your work, do you mind telling us what you do?
Thanks mate. I make timber packing mate
Some nice images in less than ideal conditions.
I know I am unlucky with weather or should I say lucky for most sun sun sun
G'day Paul, a quick question about your "big one". Your gear list shows a Fuji 55-200mm but it looks like you're using a 50-140mm. Am I right? And if so, how would you compare the two please? IYHO which one is the better for hobby snappers such as myself? By the way, really like your vlogs and get a lot of great ideas from them. Cheers from another Fuji fan.
well thank you sir, i am glad i can help a few people.. as for the list you have reminded me i have not added the 50-140 yet... what can i say, on a budget the 55-200 is far less money its lighter and takes fantastic photos its very good, BUT that said the quality of the 50-140 is far better.. but i have to say it is much heavier and its 3 x the price, i still have the 200 for lighter days out and Mrs C now has a longer lens to use...
Great vlog enjoyed it, if you need any more music we got your covered 😊
Music please tell me more...
Great location, would be stunning on a low tide if a storm was throwing the sea against the arch and you could still get square on to it. I think I'm probably closer to that sea arch on the Scottish east coast though, by a couple of hundred miles.
I think you may have meant for the 'line things' geological sedimentary layers of sandstone and shale. Been up to my neck in local geology books recently and discovered some more hidden waterfalls. Managed to lose a second lens cap in a month...maybe I need a lanyard ;-)
I always love your comments and the way you are so knowledgeable lol yer the arch up your way is wicked
I ain't knowledgeable. As Homer Simpson said 'Everytime I learn something new something old has to leak out to make room for it'.
'Duh', is my middle name :-)
Did those instagram links ever make it to you. Its okay to say that it wasn't your cup of tea...I'm only shooting to please my own very individual variety of insanity. I struggle with sticking to any genre.
like you said one in one out what links haha
How do you like the 100-400mm Fuji lens? Thx
never used it yet, but i hear its very good...
Hi Paul, we are off to Exmoor, across Devon for us. I have looked at this location before, but I thought it was too far. How long did it take you & the good lady to get down to the beach. The other thing is what make of shutter cable were you using. Is it Xt2 compatible too?
Cable is my old 70d one it’s just a cheap eBay job with a 3.5 Mum jack lol the walk down is ok easy about 25 mins
I managed to rupture a ligament in my ankle exactly where you stood. Can’t recommend that.
no its quite a place
@@paulcomptonpdphotography having said that: I’ll return there in the next weeks. This time with backup! 😄
lol
Great shots - wait till your 60 and you'll know what stupid really is 😂👍
lol 60 is coming
