- It's always a treat to see these Pink Feather Boa Millipedes, Gosodesmus claremontus. These California natives are small but their fun morphology and communal nature make them one of my personal favorites. There is nothing else in the hobby like them except the Brachycybe feather millipedes, but these are more pink than orange in coloration and much more elongate.

What unique millipedes! So cool!
I love that every time I watch your videos I’m totally amazed I learned so much from you so far and can’t believe that there’s so many creatures that I never knew existed and have to give thanks to you for opening my eyes to all the beauty I might have never seen if it wasn’t for your videos
I really appreciate this comment, thank you!

beautiful video with some unique millipedes! they're very pretty and fascinating to watch. i would love to start a small habitat with these, the regular feather millipedes, and the tiny orange ones you featured on here before.
what an absolutely wonderful video
Thank you, Chris!
Absolutely stunning!
finally, travel size arthropleura
I collected 3 flat backed uk versions and added them to one of my vivariums and am keeping fingers crossed that they might breed. However, these ones in your video are super pink and very pretty. 🐸
The diversity in millipedes sure is interesting! I'm curious what yours look like.
Hi Peter, one was very peachy unfortunately I didn’t get a photo that was in focus. I have just posted one of the others on Instagram. I’m cloudfox24 if you want to see one. It’s an orangey brown coloured flat backed millipede also of interest was a pretty pinky with red mid striped wood louse I also found on the piece of decaying wood. Never seen one like that before, most of the ones I find locally are porcellio laevis powder blues.
omg where do I sign?? I need these in my life
I genuinely want to know EVERYTHING about these, they're so awesome looking. Are they pretty simple to care for? Or are they a more advanced type of millipede?
id also like a care/info video on them please!
@@emmettbattle5728 I just found the website and I'm now on a waiting list for these guys lol!! I'm so in love. Doing as much research as I can in the meantime
are these going to available for sale soon? would be so excited to have one!
Here’s an easy tip for you my friend, buy an avocado fruit….plant the seed, once it grown, it’ll naturally spawn these little critters
@Bugsincyberspace are you planning to breed African armored crickets
