- In the final days in Queensland Australia, my friends and I ventured into the mountainous rainforests in search of even more insane wildlife. As nighttime fell, the forest came alive, and we encountered many species we never even dreamed of seeing!

Not sure why I chose this video to comment on, but I just went through and watched your whole Australia series and it was excellent! You got some of the coolest genera and species in the country, and as usual your knowledge to ID so many of them is very impressive. Great stuff, I’ll be catching up on the Mexico series next.

What do u do with the queens u catch?
On international trips I don't collect any queens, because it wouldn't be legal for me to bring them home. Queens are just a lot more special to see/film than normal workers, so I like showcasing them in these videos. With my Arizona videos, sometimes I collect queens and sometimes I don't, just depends if it's a species I'm interested in and if it's a situation where it's responsible to collect.
