@Libing Ho Haha I feel you! I'm bilingual as well and usually talk by mixing both my languages; it gets hard when I've use only one of them because I cant recall the words at times lol
what i REALLY like about chinese interviews is that they don't ask the general or overused questions that i see in a lot of korean interviews, they actually do their research properly (like they know mark has done extreme sports, that he likes gaibitang ) i really love learning new things about the members and general interview questions just won't cut it ya know

omg 😂 i'm just like him, i was that stupid kid in primary that would write some chinese words in pinyin bcus i didn't know how to write the actual word
My chinese is literally exactly as good as his. I just moved their and my parents are chinese

He doesn't have a Taiwanese accent he has a East LA accent I should know if he had a Taiwanese accent and sorry about my English spelling 😣😥
he does have a little? like saying 吃 as ci instead of chi? or am i wrong.... i'm taiwanese american so i grew up thinking the taiwanese accent was normal so i could be?
@@ruoyu5226 I think it's good to be proud of our own culture but I wouldn't count it as an accent depending on what culture a person is raised in there going to pick up certain words from their parents of how to pronounce I know these Latino people and one of their sons say one certain word in Spanish but he is just saying it the way he heard it in English that boy doesn't even have an accent so I wouldn't really say he in Mark's case that he has an accent he has to put tones in and Mark is okay at Mandarin but he's not good at it and it makes sense why would he be he even said when he had to learn Mandarin he didn't like it because he felt like he was being forced to learn that and piano and golf so if you don't like learning something you're going to forget certain things
But Mark in every language he pauses Korean and English is mainly his strong points he's just a quiet person he pauses in any language he speaks.

Did he........ seriously asked for the question to be re-explained in Korean? (He did actually say “뭐라고요?” and “제 폰?”) A Chinese-American asked for the question to be re-explained in Korean. Hahahaha. (And he wrote the answer in pinyin! 😂) He’s so adorable OMG.
(Well to be fair he lives in SK and uses Korean the most so it’s probably the language he’s most comfortable with currently.)
I don't think he speaks enough chinese (or english) so he kinda forgets it, since he speaks korean the most

Aida Morales Haha yes. That’s why I said it’s probably because Korean is the language he’s currently most comfortable with since he is currently living in SK. :)
blacktulip chinese and Taiwanese do use the same language but Taiwan had their own language also

In fact Jackson is independent and manages his activities in China with his own team and studio. JYP is quite weak in terms of marketing in China compared with SM.
he's going independent there now too bcz he's actually Taiwanese American and there's market for him there

@@pingping214 he speaks quite fluently but there are times where he cannot really understand what the interviewer is trying to say. easy words is okay for him but maybe hard words he isn't okay with it.

@@pingping214 Taiwanese is Chinese? Only with different accent and sometimes with Hokkien Dialect. Very minor differences overall to mainland Chinese. His accent here is a little Taiwanese.
mark’s chinese pronunciation is seriously improving, and the editing makes it seem like he’s v proficient.... when actually he’s getting korean translation 😂 he is me when I write Chinese HAHHAHAH pinyin for life

Mark. I only recently became an ‘Aghase,’ and my biggest regret is not becoming a fan of GOT7 sooner. However, in the months that I have gotten to know the group, I have already learned more about you than I expected to figure out. I’ve heard so much from the other Aghases about how kind and selfless of a person you are, and I’ve luckily been able to see your personality come to life right before me during this time that I’ve taken to get to know you better. I have watched you bring together your members and establish a connection among them when GOT7 was just debuting. Even when everyone was still getting used to one another, you made the environment feel as if you’d known each other for years, making everyone more comfortable with one another. I have watched you be absolutely sweet to your fans and supporters, and go above and beyond just to show them even the smallest token of appreciation. I watched you work so hard and grow from these long years that you have been an idol. Although you have evolved as a musician, your personality of generosity has remained the same. Like I said before, although I have only been an Aghase for about half of year, all it has taken is your music and the fans for me to already quickly understand the legacy of courtesy that you have demonstrated for your entire career. I have come to know that you have gone through so much; both individually and with your members, and yet, you still remain such a ray of hope for so many people. I never realized how many people looked up to you until I started to become more enhanced by your admirable charms. The word inspiration doesn’t even come to close to what you are for so many people in this world. You have created a reason for people to change, better themselves, and most importantly, never give up on hope in a time when they need it most. You are so humble, and there is nothing more honorable than the way that you present yourself. Even though I wish I could have become an Aghase sooner, I hope that you know my love for you is just as strong as those who have been there since GOT7’s debut. I hope that you can understand how needed and motivational you are for millions. Mark, we are so proud of you, and we appreciate you more than you could ever know. I pray that you never give up the natural kindness that is instilled in you and guides your decisions. Aghase will never leave you. We will always support you. You are an absolute icon and a sweetheart, and I know you will continue to spread nothing but positivity through the world.
