I spent my entire morning trying to figure out why when I sculpt nails the sidewalls kept tilting upwards. This is the only video that explains matching the tip of the form to the lowest point so the sidewalls would be straight. Almost every video I've watched shows the form straight out from the nail, or the tilt is so slight that it appears straight. I love you Kirsty.
I wish I could find a nail tech that did nail forms. Breaks my heart. Are used to have a nail tech in Florida. She did such beautiful nails. They look so nice.
I love that you’re keeping the art of nail tips, etc. alive! 💕👌💅🏻 Certainly not an easy job, but I really appreciate seeing them done ✅ ( And learning as well.)

These are so very helpful. While the process remains essentially the same, i.e. beads of acrylic forming a shape, the execution of the process evolves over time. It’s wonderful to learn new ways to boost efficiency and to streamline basic shapes.
Amazing course I learnt so much from this one day than I have done in all the years in the beauty industry 💅🏽 for all those debating wether to do Kirsty’s courses you really must! She teaches in a way that just makes it all click especially with form placement and apex

Definitely would love more back to basics for each nail shape! I love the art but the way you talked about the form placement and structure today is something I didn’t know and isn’t always discussed. Yes straight, yes follow the lines, but angling it down for a shorter pointy stiletto??? 😵 now I know how to try it for myself without getting ski-sloped nails.
Please do a short ballerina/coffin nail back to basics!

Don't I remember hearing previously from Kirsty that you should drag across the powder and not pat?
Honestly you take these CZcamsrs almost with a grain of salt.we are here for them to make $..I listen but also know everything is not true.u can experiment these techniques and see what works..I'm sure they both do.
I certainly would not pay for a course.youtube alone is enough for me to get by and practice to learn perfectly.
@@ashleygardner627 I agree with you. I've totally learned everything from just watching lots of CZcamsrs but you have to beware which one's are the gold ones. Having said that, I don't think my CZcams education would be enough to do other people's nails 💅💅
Does buffing the nail smooth prevent gel polish from sticking? I hear having a rougher surface helps with adhesion

Hey I did the course in Scotland 😊 You know you said the lowest point of the acrylic nail (the tip) needs to be in line with the lowest point of the natural nail - does that always mean the edge of the sidewall of the natural nail? Xx
Kirsty, when using the acid based primer I see you don't let it dry out, is there a reason for this? I've always been told especially when using gel you have to wait for the primer to fully dry. Is it different when using gel? Xx
