That "Radio with lights" looks like an emergency exit light

  • @simonwinwood

i imagine the radio with headlights is for earthquakes where it could provide illumination and information to panicked tourists

I am from the U.S. and plenty of us watch reactions of this show on CZcams, it does well with reactors. You could release this on the American channel as well, same with any Ricky Gervais comedy. 🎉

Honestly watching the Americans react to classic British shows is pretty much the only way I can enjoy them in a fresh manner after having watched them all like 50 times over now haha

@@TheOldBlackShuckyDog nice, yeah I enjoy the vice-versa as well, especially reactions to the U.S. show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"

People will eat whatever to survive, even in India. During WW2 there was a famine in India and thousands died, the British couldn't help as the food was diverted to soldiers. This led to eating anything and as a last resort cows, then cannibalism. You'd be surprised what you would eat if death is the alternative.

I think the radiologist with the lights is just for emergencies In case something like the power went out oh there was a national emergency where you needed a light and you had to listen to the radios to see if there was some kind of broadcast telling people what to do

Divya if you ever go to the UK don't call yourself Div as it means idiot. It's actually a word Karl uses regularly

Not to be disrespectful, but the girl reactor is very cute! Great reaction, this series is very funny. There literally isn't a bad one.
I also found it funny that the fortune teller said he's 90% likely to die from a heart issue. REALLY??? You mean the leading cause of death in any western culture?? Ya don't say! haha
Edit : I think that Taekwondo move she's referring to is a force push on the carotid artery in the neck that leads to the brain. It's the same technique used in choke holds to make you pass out. Cuts off blood supply but won't kill you.

Namaste. The Chinese people had to learn to eat that stuff or starve, thanks to Chairman Mao, CCP and the utopia that is communism. great vid by the way, I loved watching Karl and his child like innocence and good heart. Love your reactions on Karl lol. Keep it up 👍✌👌🙏

It doesn't surprise me that they gave her a 'new' name. Generally its referred to as your 'Western Name' and its usually something simple for us to pronounce. This is very common practice for those who work with people outside of the US. But usually we let them pick their name and sometimes they can come up with hilarious stuff. Working for an international investments company and many of the asian gentlemen would simply pick someone that was on their desk. We had people called 'Pencil' and 'Ruler'. My personal favorite was 'Tape'.

  • @JackRabbit002

To be fair that goes backwards and fourth though regarding names If I get a Asian Lad or Lass to call me by my whole name as simple as Christopher Gordon Cooke Matthews You'll watch them melt behind the eyes Lol

17:45 I think you mean when we shake our heads haha. In India when you shake your head sideways it usually means your thanking someone or it's used as a form of saying yes, sure.
As oppose to everywhere else in the world (to my knowledge) where when we shake our heads sideways it usually means no or that we don't agree. When we shake our heads up and down, it's the opposite. It means we agree or are saying yes lol
I could be wrong but I noticed this recently!

Thumbs up and Thumbs down come from ancient Rome. In gladiator fights, Thumbs up was good, Thumbs down was not so good 🙄. It stayed in Europe even after the collapse of the Roman Empire.
