      Wow! Stunning! When you add the green to the eyes is this with acrylic paint? And what type of pastels are you using. I’m trying to learn what can be added on top of charcoal.

      Thanks glad you like it. Yes I use acrylics for the eyes and hard white pastel for the whites you could use acrylic or oil over charcoal as long as the charcoal is fixed first if you use oil you will have to use an oil based varnish not a water based varnish ...

    If sprayed with fixative and then. With an isolation coat after that…..can i spray hairspray over the charcoal areas again?

    Thank you for sharing the technique. What type of varnish did you use and can one use any hairspray? Please add some details of the supplies. Really looking forward to the next stages.

      Yes any hairspray or fixative will do. I also use a water based varnish you can buy it from the art shop or any diy store. 😊
