Animated Wasp for sure. And I can agree with you that Chase could easily be remade into a Prime’s universe Cliffjumper. I could also see them partially retooling that into prime Vehicons.

I don’t see the Vehicons at all personally. Their design is more specific than they credit for and this attitude that they can just be a quick retool of any random carformer has always confused me. Prime Cliffjumper is the most likely candidate, followed by maybe a G1 Throttlebot or two. Chase getting retooled into Chase would be funny
I’d like to see at least a Heatwave or a Whirl sometime in the future.
I'm 100% sure that if Hasbro isn't going to release a Wingpack for Animated Prime, DNA is. They already did Prowl's Samurai armor that properly turns into the sidecar, AND comes with the Seismic Staff.
Hasbro will probably just re-release the Legacy toy with the wingpack (and a new head with the battle mask).

Here’s my bets:
Bouldercrash and Magneous (as well as any Armorizers that follow them) are getting Energon (like the fuel) themed recolors. I would love a multipack of these two in Dark Energon and Tox-En colors so Toxitron can have some extra armaments (as if the trailer wasn’t enough).
Energon Megatron has the obvious Galvatron repaint, but what about a Core Class SG Megatron retool? We already have a Core Optimus who they’re willing to repaint into evil colors, so why not do an SG Core 2-pack?
Tasmania Kid will probably end up with a Selects Bound Rogue repaint if the design team is willing to go that obscure.
Animated BB has the obvious Wasp and Cliffjumper, but I saw a fantastic Stinger digibash on TFW2005 and I wouldn’t mind seeing a Bug Bite out of this mold either. The craziest reuse I could see them getting out of this figure, though, is perhaps a Generations “Classics Universe” Bumblebee with a new head and some extra parts that bump him up to Voyager while also recreating his jet ski/jetpack.
Chase has the obvious Prime Cliffjumper, evergreen Barricade and Star Seeker Lockdown retools coming. Can’t really think of a good retool other than those three.
Windblade, aside from the Slipstream we know is coming, could have a Cybertronian Airazor retool or a Til All Are One “Vigilem Avatar” repaint.
Thundertron could have “Alpha Trizer” and maybe a Selects version of Go Prime. Also, with how gung ho this design team is about IDW, I wouldn’t be surprised if a Mortilus retool was planned at some point.
Animated OP should get his Armor Up repaint (from Activators), an SG recolor, and a “what-if” Season 4 palette.
Know that Tigerhawk shall be repainted into Razorclaw eventually!
The rocks could also get new-head retools to be the Granites from Inhumanoids. Their listed universe is already Infernac.
I like the idea of a capsule of Universe 1.0-themed repaints you brought up, just because that would mean the boxes would say they are from the Universe Universe

There's a big part of me that wonders if we'll get a Black Go Prime out of Thundertron. Very much so the easiest to do since he'd just need a new coat of paint, but obviously the bot's insanely obscure, being a toy-only character from one of the most obscure Transformers series who only ever got any in-universe appearances in an even more obscure comic. But it'd be cool to see Go of all things get some love in generations.

Personally, I think it would make a whole lot more sense for Barricade to be retooled from Chase.
Not only are they both American style Police cars, the silhouettes are similar too. While Barricade wouldn't get to have the whole side of the car as his arms. He does get to have the wheel as a part of his shoulder, so he does get to keep a bit of his unique silhouette.
Barricade is more likely than lockdown or Cliffjumper , or we might get all 3 of them , knowing hasbro.
This, because Galactic Odyssey Barricade is hard to find for a decent price, and it'll be nice to have him differentiated from Prowl, Bluestreak, and Smokescreen

I’ve seen suggestions for Chase to be retooled into Cliffjumper and Lockdown, but another one I’d be hyped for is Barricade. This mold would look killer in black, white, and purple.
8:14 I too REALLY want an Anode, but I don't want a Windblade repaint, my favorite part of her is that her alt mode is a biplane! She NEEDS to be a biplane, not just some regular jet. If they can retool Windblade into a biplane I'd go for it, but I doubt they'd do that. We have had literally ONE biplane mold in the entire history of Transformers and it was a ROTF scout, but now we have an official character who is a real canon biplane and that MUST be represented in the toy line!
15:59 I know BotCon wanted to use the original in Predaking colors (they also wanted to use it as a form of SG BW: Megatron when they were planning their 2011 set, which I assume was where they got the Metalhawk/Cyclonus retool and the Toxitron Collection/Mayhem name from).
The Chase to Lockdown idea is absolutely brilliant!
Now that you've put it in my head i want an full fire truck animated Optimus more than anything, and I'm also hoping for a Wasp & Leobreaker to come out.

If you want a repaint of Tasmania Kid that's just as obscure as Bound Rogue, you could also go with his original alt-mode, a Cheetah that he planned on scanning before the Tasmanian devil got in the way. He even daydreamed what his body would look like if he was successful!
I assumed Lockdown from Axle grease due to the parts swap-ability, but Chase would be a good choice as well
I like the idea of reusing the upcoming Legacy Animated Universe Optimus Prime to get the wing blade version we never got out of Animated, but I would like to pitch a similar idea that would be so far out of left field, such a massive curveball that it just might work.
What if..Hasbro were to reuse Legacy Animated Universe Optimus Prime, and retool it enough that you could get the Project: Powermaster armor that we also never got?
I'm not sure they would directly do Animated Powermaster, since it's just a thing that was in a book and never made it even to the cartoon, let alone the toy shelves. However, after TJ said it, perhaps a leader class, or maybe commander, for the trailer/rear section, part of it could come off to form the Endgame armour, with other parts becoming some sort of battle station, then the rest could bulk out the super mode into something resembling the Powermaster.
I like the idea you pitched and I think that would most likely be the best way to handle it so that one could get both versions out of the same figure.
With Legacy being the line for anniversary figures and Animated being one of the series that can get new figures, now is most likely the best chance to reuse any Animated season 4 concepts that we never got.
I wouldn’t exactly put it at the commander price point (mainly because I kinda doubt that Hasbro would go 2 for 2 on Optimus Prime at that size class, but if I’m wrong, I’ll admit it), but I think somewhere between leader and commander would be the best option.
-Besides Wasp and possibly Bug-Bite from Animated Bumblebee, a Glyph and Tap-Out would be cool to see.
-Cyberverse Windblade can be repainted into Maxima.
-Don't want Slipstream to be remolded from Windblade, but it is possible. They can go the Takara legends manga reason, as the turbines are interdimensional gyro-rotors. Which would explain how she got into the Legacy multiverse.
-A full firetruck Animated Optimus Prime would be great for Hasbro to do.
-Rescue Bots Chase can be repainted as Throttlebot Chase. Maybe even remolded as Wildwheel.

I think what they should have done with the rocklords is let them transform into a rock mode but then also have a vehicle mode so they can homage the original alt forms. All rocklords could be triple changers but just the rock mode as a 3rd form.
Chase Is prolly gonna get retooled into Lockdown. Note that alt mode and the weird arm ports, perfect for a hook on one of them.
What able junkion axlegrease? She already has the hook, the muscle car form, interchangeable arms like he had in the show, etc.

Mentioning Razorclaw: I noticed that on Tigerhawk's beast head that there is a tab there for something. Perhaps they'll also do a toy colored version of Tigerhawk with the blue and put that inevitable beast mode battle mask that might also come with Razorclaw.
Love the idea for throttlebots but that mold only accounts for 4 of the 6, but again people had been wondering why the WFC Cliff mold never got used for them.
I can see Thunderhawk being retooled into BW Silverbolt. The transformation is sort of similar.
Will Beast Machines get any love this year? Will we see Nightscreen or Botanica or Obsidian? Or was the series so unloved that Hasbro doesn't want to remind people it existed?
We're supposedly getting Beast Machines Cheetor as a core class next wave, but there doesn't seem to be much else.

Something you didint mention about the Armorizers is that Magneous has almost the same chest as Rock lords stoneheart. So I imagine that's a high probability

Lockdown is what jumped out at me for chase as well....plus they indicated it was something we would be hyped for.
I still think it would be a better idea to do a Lockdown from the Axelgrease mould since that’s already a Mad Max car and if it’s a selects release or something you can swap out his arms and for the hook or the chainsaw like in Animated, which is something no other toy is going to be able to do
Lockdown's whole shtick was upgrading himself with parts or weapons stolen from other Transformers, so having him be made from one of the current Junkions would probably be the easiest way to replicate that.

I'm really worried that Bumblebee will just get turned into Cliffjumper Prime. I'd rather it be Wasp, but knowing how Hasbro thinks, Cliffjumper is very likely to be the alternate head.
Yeah, I'm firmly in the Thundertron for Leobreaker camp. Sadly, I agree that he probably won't be able to form an arm at the Voyager price point, but either way I'd be happy with just a good Leobreaker toy. Plus, they did mention in the presentation that Thundertron had some liger elements to him...
I don't think Hasbro is willing to piss off the fanbase like that again. They butchered Arcee, gave mad disrespect to Knockout by making him a retool, and gave Bulkhead the completely wrong vehicle type. After all the deserved backlash they got for that they release Skyquake who's a lot more accurate. (Even if it still has G1 aspects cause Hasbro are G1 whores and can't help themselves) If anyone is gonna be retooled into Cliffjumper Chase is the best bet. The robot mode might not be completely accurate but it'll be better than all 3 of the original Legacy Prime figures robot modes AND 2 of the 3's vehicle modes.

I am so happy one of the big Transformers CZcamsrs has brought up Anode as a possible Legacy figure. After discovering her existence and really liking her design and alt mode I would love to see a figure of her get released. Even if her alt mode isn't exact with a lack of biplane styled wings, I've seen a thing on tfw2005 where someone 3D printed new wings, the front of her alt mode and a head for RiD Warrior class Windblade and with how good that vehicle mode looks I'd take something like that for a remould of Legacy Windblade.
I feel like they could remold Chase as SS86 Sunstreaker. The proportions are a lot closer than his earthrise figure. Lockdown is pretty much a guarantee. I could also see the omnibot Downshift if they really wanted to go for a deep cut.

Based on what they brought up in the stream. My theory about what they could do with Thundertron is Zoids universe mechs.
I see that they are going to do a Magmatron. You know they are going to recolor that into Grimlock, Swoop and Paddles. Why Paddles and not Sludge? It is because Magmatron's gimmick is land, air and sea and Paddles is the only Dinobot that can swim.
I'd love if they did Razorclaw and labelled his universe as "Universe Universe" XD
fr though, I don't see Lockdown from Chase, my bets are completely on Axlegrease as the base. The weaponizer gimmick is too good to pass on as an Animated reference and the vehicle mode is already on point. Plus there's the engine which can double as the EMP weapon. I'd say switch out the big smokestacks for some accessories that go over his hands that allow you to put weapons on horizontally, so he can have the hook in the proper orientation.
As for likely retools of Chase, Prime Cliffjumper seems like a possibility. Speaking of Rescue Bots, hope they turn Legacy Bulkhead into Heatwave and replace his accessories (like doing the Axe Energize weapon instead of the wrecking ball, a hose, and the ladder in place of the riot shield). He'd also need a new torso piece probably.
I really hope one of the rock guys get redone in pink translucent plastic so they can be passed off as a bot made of pure Energon.
Thundertron into Cyberverse Thunderhowl? I know the names are similar, but the mold would wear the colors well.
I hope that Animated Universe Wasp would be an Autobot like how he first started.
speaking of throttlebot freeway. they should do the throttlebots using the various car molds they have with them being deluxes and wideload being a voyager maybe remolding the trashmaster mold. the chase throttlebot would have to be called "throttlebot chase" to differentiate it from the rescuebots one

9:07 Lug's transformation scheme was based on Rewind's. Anode's was based on Mindwipe's.
Not to mention that Windblade was also used for Maxima in Combiner Wars, Stiletto in Beast Wars: Uprising & Airazor's Cybertronian form.

Half of the molding on Thundertron is based on Cyberverse Thunderhowl, so I think that's the one we are gonna see on him.
the vast majority of it seems based on the 2012 thundertron design though with notable changes being the head sculpt, bigger shoulders pads without the movable claws and the claws on the robot mode hands but i could see them doing a thunderhowl remold of the new thundertron
I see one remold right away from beast wars, Silverbolt! Seriously just replace the head with a wolf head and it works surprisingly well!

I would like to see Hasbro give us Animated Lockdown and Siren/ Go Shooter from the new Rescue Bots Chase, so we can have our favorite bounty hunter/mercenary and the next modern take on a Headmaster junior to go with the Minerva we got.
Tasmania Kid actually has one very obvious and easy repaint and it's Copy Tasmania Kid the black repaint and Windblade is easily can be repainted in to Maxima from Machinima's combiner wars series
This might sound a bit ludicrous, but I could also see animated optimus getting retooled into rescue bots optimus. All it would need is a remolded head and arms, then a new paint job, and then the light bar removed and it would be a passable rb optimus prime

For me a Lockdown retool from Chase looks like an EXTREME jump compared to Prime Cliffjumper after noticing all the tons of little details.
For instance, the detailing under the window in robot mode which if you look very closely if painted would look a lot like the headlights and bumper, then the four arm design at the wrist which could be painted black, the fact that about 3/4s of the car looks near identical to prime Cliffjumper’s car mode; just take off the siren, change the part with the grill on it which includes the very front tip of the hood and is the same color plastic as the head, and make it red.
Although I will admit, I definitely see how this design would work great for a Lockdown, I just think it would look FAR better as a Cliffjumper.
Also, this could be very slightly biased since my favorite character IS Cliffjumper.
Man I wish I thought of doing Username Ladiesman217 when getting my Patreon shoutout, I messed up with setting it up so I had to wait a month before making TJ shout out what I wanted to which happened when he went over Pulsecon.
There's another possibility for repainting Tasmania Kid, TJ. He got a black and grey clone in the anime from the same machine that created Copy Convoy (AKA Dark Ember/Nemesis Lio Convoy)
Leo Breaker/Ligerjack was also my first go to thought of a potential alternate use for the Thundertron mold, another safe bet for it would be a Leo Prime/Convoy repaint since that has happened to Thundertron in the past

Yoooooo, I never knew there even *WAS* an Animated Toxitron. But yeah, I doubt a Nemesis Prime simply because Animated already used The Motormaster as the obligamatory black repaint there.
Thundertron is obvious: Alpha Trizer, just like last time. Ligerjack/Leobreaker would be incredible (but Nemesis Breaker would be more likely to be Generations Selects or Takara Tomy Mall), too. Cyberverse Cheetor is probably the best bet for a Cheetor from this mold.
Chase as Lockdown? Nah...I still see Gamer Edition Barricade as a potential G1ified Animated Lockdown. TFP Cliffjumper is just ridonkalonkalous, but nobody expected SS86-1 Jazz to be retooled into TFP Knockout. (And yet, they still haven't done the obligamatory further retool into TFP Smokescreen) BUT...maybe they could make Chase into somebody from the Unicron Trilogy. 🤷🏽♂️
Honestly, the first thing I thought when I saw Chase was "SS86 Sunstreaker pretool" and I'm surprised no one else has thought the same.

RID2001 Gasskunk is a very easy retool of Tazmania Kid, just swap the tail and head and Hasbro would say close enough. I could have sworn we were promised a unique mold Slipstream a few months ago.The Motormaster is already showing up in retail listing, as The Motormaster. Chase could easily be a Aligned/evergreen universe Barricade, Axlegrease is more likely to be Lockdown, the hook is part of the mold, the spikes are part of the mold, the forearm weapon is part of the mold, all they would need would be a new head and a fake chest remold.

So That's my first most obvious choice for a repaint/minor retool.
I can totally see a movieverse shatter out of that windblade. I know she wouldn't be a triple changer. But I'm fine with her just being a jet! Also someone on Twitter said that thundertron could be remolded into cyberverse thunderhowl!

I watched all of Rescue Bots and a handful of Academy. I actually liked Chase. He was awesome. And what a lesson for people to learn when a Cybertronian bot becomes a Earth Mayor of a city. That was hilarious. My cousin informed me that they did that in Futurerama as well, so, now I need to watch all of that show…😅 Heatwave was cool as well. Of course I took my own notes in how these characters are pretty much a remake of the G1 combiner protector bots. There’s even a Blades. And Protectorbots had weapons. Perhaps they should do the Protectorbots.
i think they won't do animated prime with an addon, but i do believe a third party will design one
You don't actually have to do much to Tazmania Kid tp get a good looking dog, fox, or cat - mostly just shift the ears from the feet to the little panel that flips onto his back, and remodel the beast face a bit while you're at it, change the tail as well for a cat or maybe for a fox. I don't really see them doing another Cheetor-family character so soon when some of the WFCK versions are still shelf- and peg-warming and I'm not sure there ever even was a fox, so Snarl or Wolfang I guess? Maybe that racoon guy from BW II or Neo?
Chase = Cliffjumper. That’s the only reason why I’m gonna be picking up that mold.

If we ever get a cyber Leo breaker, especially out of the thunder Tron mold, it will probably have to be reworked to combine with the siege galaxy upgrade Optimus. Or, at least I hope it’s reworked to combine with that figure.
We have leaked listings for Core class Energon Galvatron and Animated Motormaster. And I'd love to see the Animated characters in their Cybertronian modes (another potential Animated Optimus Prime reuse).
I think a better base mold for Armordillo would be Rattrap.
And I think another very potential retool for Thundertron is Thunderhowl.
But what I really want is a toy accurate Tigerhawk (with the alt mode battle mask hopefully). Maybe that Leader class Star Seeker Thundertron is him somehow.
And Chase could be retooled into Cybertron Downshift and RID 2015 Bumblebee, too.

Yeah I made my axel grease some playmates with copies of towline and scraphook with some slight painting and also some females using the towline colors and scraphook body. And now I have all three of those 'bad junkions' with Detritus and Toxitron as a rogue junkion faction.
Ppl are referencing the 1st edition Cliffjumper as a chase retool. They are more or less, the same. Look at the toy, not the show model.
Animated Prime as Thunderclash
I'm not sure about Beast Hunters Prime, the torso is bulkier but BH prime is sorta bulky all around. Also it'd be two possible red and blue Optimus with a jetpack from the same mold and directly from the animated mold I would prefer the endgame armour. Don't get me wrong, I would love them to do Beast Hunters Prime, that's a badass design, it was criminal how little time it got in the spotlight, and none of the figures in the Prime toyline did it justice, the voyager didn't really get the bulkiness right to me, the bigger one is a little tootall in vehicle mode and sacrifices the accurate jetpack for that dumb dragon head ring thing, the cyberverse one was obviously simplified and the second voyager was Hasbro copying the people who do the oversized KOs in pound stores, so it'd be cool to see a new figure, preferably either leader or even commanderr if it meant we got that gattling gun done right, but for that specific mold, if it came down the BH or Endgame, it has to be Endgame.
Here's hoping we get a sg Megatron out of the core class
I wouldn't call Prime Cliff as likely as Lockdown, he's definitely MORE likely.
Chase has actual Prime Cliffjumper details molded into him.
So for my money, I'd say Prime Cliff is the easy head swap + redeco we'll get first.
And Lockdown is the partial retool we'll get farther down the line.
It's not about which character works best.
It's about which character would easiest and cheapest to produce that works well enough.
Also, I agree they need to release these izer-bots in unified colors schemes and leave the funky colors for redecos.
