- The second day of a 1000-mile trip from the UK to Morzine in France on the F900GSA.
After I was recommended to ride the B500 it was the perfect opportunity to check it out!

Just be glad you weren’t there this week! I rode up to Triberg (start of the B500) on Tuesday and had rain all day, then Wednesday morning set off on the B500 and had more rain with patches of thick fog and temps barely touching 13*c…for my first euro trip it was a bit of a let down totally because of the weather and nothing else…parts of the final motorway stretches I had to cover to get to my hotel were downright dangerous mainly due to spray from cars and lorries, but probably some of the worst driving conditions I’ve ever been in and that includes car driving…oh and to top it off I noticed brake pulsing that got really bad to the point I stopped at a local bike garage and they just said ‘yeah you need new discs, but these will still get you home, we’ve seen worse’ 😂
Overall, could have been much better, but it has been an adventure for sure. Back to the Eurotunnel tomorrow and you’ll never guess what the forecast is…yup more rain 🌧️ 😭
