  • Tonight’s guest, Brandon Close, lives on a 192-acre farm in Upstate New York. Brandon’s spent his whole life enjoying the outdoors. He’s spent untold hours deep in the woods. Because of how much time he had spent in the woods, he thought he knew everything about them. Unfortunately, he found out, 4 weeks before this show aired that the woods held a secret he was yet to find out about.
One night, while investigating strange howls, Brandon came face to face with a creature he describes as being in the 8 to 9-foot range, that looked like a Werewolf! He and a neighbor of his were in his side by side when they first saw it, so they sped away. Unfortunately, that was just the beginning of the terror the two men were going to experience that night.
We hope you tune in and listen to Brandon explain the details of the encounter he and his neighbor had that night. It’s an experience neither of them will ever forget.

This is my favorite dogman encounter. I've heard it about four times, a couple times by myself and another couple with my wife. It never gets old, Brendon discribes it in such detail it's like reading a book. A terrifying book!!

I think this one makes it into my all time top 10 dogman encounters episodes. Brandon did a great job recounting what happened to him. I lay back, closed my eyes while listening, and it painted a visual as entertaining and thrilling as any movie. I really can't imagine going through what he experienced. I feel like I would be traumatized for life.

My God, this is hands down the most terrifying werewolf/dogman experience I’ve ever heard. Brandon did not hallucinate anything. His wife knew, the cows knew, the dog knew, the deers knew, the neighbor didn’t just know; HE SAW. The scratches show it wasn’t just a metaphysical apparition. It was a physical thing. It’s terrifying that the wife was home with a newborn alone during the day and this *thing* was canvassing the house all day, even scratching it. I can’t imagine the mental and spiritual anguish this Man has gone through. When people see a dogman/yeti/skinwalker, it’s very jarring, they realize these things exist, but a peace also comes realizing there are beings on the other side. Angles, creatures of light that protect you. This man was kept safe that day, during his whole life in the area and subsequently ever since. Take peace in that Brandon if you are reading this. Know that there are things unseen that are protecting you and your family.

I know this was posted a year ago or so. I have lived in the woods of Northern Ohio and East Texas for the better part of my life, fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. I have never heard of a Dogman and was very skeptical as I listened to all these people describe a creature I have only seen in movies. A werewolf, dogman whatever, as skeptical as I was i noticed one very important thing, they were all describing with just a few exceptions the same creature. I am a God fearing, Jesus believing Christian man, as much time as I have spent in the woods day and night I am now very aware of my surroundings and situational awareness. I have never see one and don't want to, but after hearing these people I do believe. The Book of Enoch talks about monsters, real monsters that walked the land, with all the evil in the world who is to say that they haven't returned.

I live about 5 miles north from Brandon Close in Cato, NY (don't know him, though). I've heard that blood-curdling scream at my place coming from the treeline across my field. I thought a woman was being murdered out there and called the sheriff, they came. The officers went out towards the treeline in the dark (it was about 9-10 at night), when they get back they told me that it was probably some animal. This happened back in 2011. Haven't heard it since then.

Please know Brandon we believe you and we care about you. But knowledge is power. Learn everything you can and be prepared for anything. Werewolves are obviously real.
Historically someone saw what you did and people turned fact into fiction because the truth is too terrifying for the average human. Be patient and help those who go through what you did.

Brandon, I believe you. Please move as far away as you can asap. As for the device that they used, this is the second time that I've heard about them using such a thing. As you saw, it absolutely tortures domestic dogs, and apparently it's used to move the dm out of an area. In the other story that I heard, the dm was closing in on some kids having fun while squealing and laughing as they hit a pinata. "Certain" vehicles pulled up, and then the man's dog acted exactly as yours did; the dm stopped advancing and left quickly. Be careful out there!
Vic, thank you for bringing us these encounters!

Good job Brandon. I've never seen a DM, but I went through a very similar reaction from my family & friends after my BF sightings. I was met with amused skepticism, rolling eyes, and had a couple of very close friends accuse me of outright lying. It made me angry, panicky, and I felt extreme anxiety, fear, and feelings of helplessness. I couldn't talk about what happened until about 3 years later. Talking it out helped me a lot when I finally could.

I know that I’m late to this one, there’s a lot of videos on this channel that I need to catch up on, but this is by far the most terrifying encounter that I’ve ever heard. You can hear the emotion in his voice and he’s so descriptive, I can’t even imagine going through this. I firmly believe the government knows about these things. This is similar to a Michigan encounter that a truck driver had and his description was almost identical down to the fingers and black knife like claws. Thank you for sharing, Brandon. I know this was four years ago so I hope that you’re doing well now.

BEST EPISODE EVER!!!! I knew our government knew about these creatures, whether they created them or alien-created, they know! Poor Brandon, I can't begin to imagine the fear.....and I'm sure he'll never hear back from that "outfit" that came that day. They'll never tell him the truth. This entire episode had me on the edge of my seat & just when I thought it couldn't get any more heightened, it surely did! I'm reeling over Brandon's encounter AND the military part with the "Men In Black" satellite gadget! Wonder if this gadget dismantled/incapacitated the dogman or told him to back off completely? Anyone else Google just how far Cato, NY was from their town? 326 miles/5hours is way too close for me! Best Wishes, Brandon, can't wait for next week to hear more!

  • @welikegoodies
    @welikegoodies Před 6 lety +46

The vehicle was a bearcat. Look it up.
Its a tactical vehicle used for military or specialist unit law enforcement - hi ops units.
It’s not a satellite either, it’s too disable the dogman - it takes away / (distorts) one of the dogmans most important senses - it’s hearing.
Keep talking about your encounter, it helps. I feel for you.
I’m wondering if you heard or saw anything over the next few days - I Ask because maybe another team extracted it’s body once the other team dispatched it. It really baffles me why the government hides it and attempts to hide it when the cat is clearly out of the bag here.

Vic, this was a great show. I feel extremely concerned about Brandon's encounter and the unexpected trauma they experienced that night. Having grown up in Jefferson County, NY I can vouch that there are "things" in the woods and country areas that are highly unnerving. There have also been encounters with these things up around Brasher Falls in Lewis county NY, too. I would imagine that Brandon needs to keep his head on a swivel for quite awhile and listen to the animals. They will always let you know if these things are around.

As a Mental Health professional, and disabled vet with PTSD, who has been on both sides of the treatment aisle, I can spot the real compassionate people from the fake. A word of advice for the viewers however; If you have any proof of any kind, I suggest that they make copies, upload them , do whatever they can to have evidence of anything related to the Dogmen, and secure it before any of those Black fatigue wearing people show up to "help". Then share that evidence/proof with as many reputable people they can think of. And be careful when and with whom they share it with.Your show, being one. But tell them to wait before they do. Time and distance from the event will help protect themselves.Just some advice, take it for what it's worth.Thanks.... love your show

  • @JohnSmith-jr5jj
    @JohnSmith-jr5jj Před 6 lety +15

    Hi Brandon. Great contribution.
Keep the 12 gauge and switch to Dixie slugs, or Brenneke or Lightfield. Brenneke has earned a good reputation & has real world results to prove it. I recommend the Brenneke Crush or Black Magic slugs in 602 or 710 grain. Lightfields Commader & Commander plus are also effective.
Ditch all Foster and sabot slugs!
Fosters FLATTEN or shatter in heavy muscled dense boned game and they don't penetrate well. You might only see 9 or 10 inches of penetration in dense muscle with a Foster style slug. You need a balance of thru penetration & high shock (permanent & temporary cavitation).
Since placement of vitals and anatomy are still a mystery concerning dogman, break a thigh It's lighter then center of mass (chest/abdomen) and It won't be able to run. Then if you can & your still alive follow up with high center of mass at base of the throat to chest, (the thorax).
Good shot placement usually only occurs when you can set up the shot. Unless, you are the kind of shooter that can do so under stress.
Saboted slugs are made for deer and black bear etc, medium to big thin skinned game not dangerous game. That's not to say they won't do well, but why chance it. I've butchered hundreds of big game over the years when I was younger. Doing that gave me considerable insight to how well or not certain rifle or shotgun rounds work in the real world. But dogman is no deer!
Fosters and saboted slugs perform very well on deer and bear etc. That's what they are designed for. Another good option would be a lever action rifle in large a caliber with solid dg and dgx bullets.
Keep your range within 100 yards to point blank. If your seeing one @ 100 yards it's cause it wants you to & it might be a trap. Think Jurassic park raptors when you deal with super predators.
A 12 gauge pump 18.5" or 22" barrel loaded with solid slugs will put a lot of lead down range quickly. Its a fast, easy to handle & cost effective solution to close range highly charged encounters.
If your gun jams thats likely to be fear driven operator error. The shooter tried to eject a round only partially and the next one tried to chamber. I know Ive seen it happen. Quick forensics of a spent shell will prove I'm right. And dont go after dangerous game in brush with a scope either, use open sites or a 3d dot. I am telling you this from 1st hand experience.
Dogman qualifies as large & dangerous. With the exception that it's intelligence ranks higher than a bear or other dangerous predators except squatch. Bears generally run away from you, unless something is wrong, ie cubs, desease or a fresh kill.
Your greatest weapon was and will always be your ability to remain calm. Good use of a high intensity spotlight and airhorn will help. If all else fails try a dog whistle. The light can be more effective than any gun. Don't leave the gun behind, duh.
You'll get lots of suggestions from armchair warriors about magnums, super magnums and god killers. Ignore them!
Most are not hunting dogman or havent had a dangerous encounter with anything.
Those are the facts. But, always accept advice from seasoned and skilled hunters or guides. Remember you will probably not have a chance to setup a shot. These arent dumb animals. They are pack oriented, in their habitat, & survivors. They bleed and can & will be killed.
Of course skill under duress is the greatest advantage. The biggest magnum rifle is worthless if you can't shoot straight while dealing with possible multiple hostiles. Dogman is a PACK oriented organism!
A heavy handgun might be a consideration as a last resort.
Your main objective is to preserve your life & that of others, get to saftey & formulate a plan to deal with the problem later.
I am a long time res of NY State, love & hate it both. I have had 1st hand encounters with 3 viscious dogman & I am still here. Expect for them to retaliate.

best encounter i have ever heard....nd yet so many questions that need to be answered as to who exactly those "rangers" are nd what their purpose really is. to me its like theyre some sort of recon team used to gather up info/intel. but the most intriguing part is how they (the sheriff) was able to gather a team together or contact this group in a short period of time. its as if they already know whats going on are ready to deal with these type of situations.

This is by far one of the best episode you have had Vic. I'm glad that Brandon will be able to come back next week to answer your questions. The way he told his story made you feel like you were right there with him and that you could feel all the emotions he was experiencing to. I wish him the best with him regaining his courage to be able to go back out into the woods and enjoy them again when the time is right for him and his family. By the way Happy Birthday Brandon.

I grew up on an old hog/cattle ranch in California. I was 12 when I saw a dogman throw a 300 pound young bull across it's shoulders after snapping it's neck.it was just dark, and the bull was in a corral. The area was kept lighted cause cattle and calves were coming up missing. All our dogs were nervous, refusing to go out of the barn or houses. It scared the crap out of me. I stayed where I was until it was GONE. I never ever went near that area again. And I never went out at night again.

Hey Vic you probably already know about this Oklahoma Dogman Sasquatch Encounters episode, but just in case I thought you could maybe forward this to Brandon your guest. The episode linked below involves a gentleman going with a friend of his (who works collecting trash from the bins at a state park down south) one afternoon because his friend wants him to see this"thing" that has been messing with the garbage bins. This is a relatively new episode if theirs and long story short, they see a Dogman and happen to be sitting there when thebcalvary rolls up and the man describes the exact tool which caused his own dog who was in the truck with them have basically a seizure when one of the cars pulled up. This ultra sonic noise or whatever caused the Dogman who was still in the tree line to take off at high rate of speed out of there. Huge coorboration for your guest if he wants to listen to that program. Also I listen to many of these programs and when I think of it I go to GoogleMaps to mark down sighting locations if sufficient data for location isbavailablr and I try to label the show I hear it on. Any how, Cato NY is quite close to many sightings including the one you took from the woman in Utica NY downtown as she walked home from the library by herself after school. Also your episodes 184, 163, 165 all took place nearby as well. I'll try to attach a screen shot of my map where Cato is marked with the red pointer thing and the green flags are Dogman sightings. Gotta say these 2 eyewitnesses miles and miles apart describing such a similar authority response is a huge coorboration of the Dept. Of Agriculture's weapons against these things! At least it seems there is a concerted effort to control, not that it is really proactive more of a pick up the pieces after an attack or incident, maybe they should rent that equipment out to people on an as needed basis to have for a year so they can feel safer? I don't know... Great guest I hope he's doing better and takes solace in the fact that he isn't alone!

I recently watched an episode of Terror In The Woods where a bloke had an encounter with 2 creatures that he wasn’t sure what they were. But from the description its pretty clear that they were dogmen. Would love to see you make a similar show. Let’s face it, if anyone has the resources and experience to pull it off it’s you Vic. Would be a great show and in my opinion successful. Here’s hoping.
