Center for Black Literature's Book Club Announces Its 2024 Winter/Spring Selections!

  • The Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY (CBL) launched its monthly book club in 2020. It's been going strong ever since! Members from around the world gather every last Wednesday to participate in robust conversations about the books they've previously selected.
    Here are the best-selling books selected for January - March 2024.
    ⭕ January: AN INCONVENIENT COP by Edwin Raymond with Jon Sternfeld
    ⭕ February: ERASURE by Percival Everett (The film "American Fiction" is based on this novel)
    ⭕ March: HOW TO SAY BABYLON by Safiya Sinclair
