I could sense the anxiety, and butterflies around the decisions of what to cut, and what to leave. But I believe you made the correct choice, in keeping with the structural rigidity of the panels.

I personally like really dark colours or black with bright accents which would look good but it really wouldn't do her justice for the work that's gone into her she would just get lost in a crowd so a bright colour would suit the level of love and make her shine like the star she is cos she deserves to be the centre of attention!

Metal, Fiberglas, Carbon , no matter what material theese guys get it done!. Diesel truck, M30 or exotic sportscar, hard work will fix it.

I’ve always been a fan of white - like pure stormtrooper white with bronze accents, would look sick! My past three cars have been white and they get a ton of thumbs up!

The more you fellas do,the more I watch..I like cars and I like you bunch.....Red red....red....That was the classic coler for the M3 that time.They made a red BeeM that looked better than every thing you saw on the autobahn.Red was normaly the Audi quattro color and Lancia Itegrale....Please keep it red with black trimmings and you can`t go wrong.Trust me...PPPLLLLEEEEAAASSSEEE..

As a bodyman myself, i did install a kit and i end up installing real m3 wheel house in the rear and trimming the metal fender to fit the fiber panel..you can add aluminium inside panels to make it solid instead of keeping metal quarter panel under
Certainly good to see your thinking each move out and taking your time. Don’t rush it it is looking awesome, and as you say it gets made to fit, not it won’t fit. 👍🏽🙀

The car looks amazing guys and the overlap method really did good but yeah i do agree on having the other quarter panel installed then middle piece according to both panels and taillights would fit in place easily! But the kit really looks awesome, can't wait with really wide wheels and kickass rims on that build!

We also just completed our e30 project using the fiber glass kit but we cut the car I guess both has pros and cons but that's clearly much easier

Nice work Boys ! You made the right solution with the panels, much better and it leafs the structure intact. the small taillights are from the first series, the bigger taillights are after a modificatie and are orignal, so you gut the "old "model BMW. But this car is going to look excelent and with Yuri the Viking as panelmaster it will be fine !!! Lambo is maiby a nice car but I prefer your car Mark !

With the roll cage in I think you could go competition white with the blue and red stripes give it a race car look
E30 garage Norway and Esgaraj Turkey have detailed photos on how to fit a fiberglass bodykit on the E30. You guys are cutting away essential parts on the rear quarter panel that needs to be there for a proper seal. Also buy a metal type 1 rear end and weld that in or find a type 1 body at a junkyard to cut out the tail light parts.
Watching you cut the body panels with that M18 grinder made me think of using a sledgehammer to hang
a picture way to much tool for the job. I enjoy your content

You can also get the rear taillights panel as a metal replacement it will be much stronger!

its too bad they don't make this kit in steel. what is your plan for the back window? The tail panel for an early style car/m3 can be purchased (in steel) for less than 100.00 iirc. it would be better to replace it rather than use fiberglass over the top or your existing panel
They do it’s just really expensive, we’re probably gonna get a legal one. Where can I get that steel panel?

Paint it in Jerez Black.... a BMW color that shows black during the day and metallic blue at night, especially if it's raining
I said on your IG what colors I thought, but British racing green, Hyacinth Red, Solarbeam yellow or if you do blue, Kona Blue from Ford on the Mustang looks nice, but you can never go wrong with Laguna Blue but then Ben's M3 is also,going to be blue so...

This back from your e30 is type II. The original e30m3 is a type I. That’s why there is a gap at your taillights.
Rio Yellow , it’s a factory S2000 colour look it up! Betcha you’ll get some looks in er if she’s that colour

You can cut out entire quarter and leave 1.5” strip for bonding.

If you want something different than the original colors maybe you should go with the Laguna seca blue.
