    Why did they write 'valkyrie' wrong?

    • @Believeintherun
      @Believeintherun  Před 4 měsíci +11

      I don't know, but they did say this: "After glimpsing this cutting-edge carbon running shoe, we noticed that you found the subtle hidden misspelling. While the latest edition of Speedworks features the correct spelling, you can capitalize on a unique opportunity by using the misspelled Norse warrior’s name as a promo code (VALKRYIE, this misspelled way) on TYR.com. Doing so will grant you a generous 20% discount on a pair of these exclusive first-run shoes."

      @@Believeintherun I just tried it-and the code works! 🙏🏻 Only it’s VALKRYIE, not VALKYRIE, which failed to work.
      Hey, VALKRYIE makes the shoe cheaper than the Endorphin Pro 4…. what a wonderful and totally-intentional secret promotion TRY (err, I mean TYR) has run. 🤔🪽😉

      Ha! Hadn’t noticed the misspelling. This is a surprisingly capable all-around choice; useful for linear tempo runs. A little too tall and tippy for the track given the softer foam. Like but don’t love it. Best use for me is athleisure wear. So many better options. Closest to the Atreyu Race Model, which is less than half the price.

    I've had these for about a month now. Outstanding shoe - absolutely the best toe box in the game. Extremely comfortable, very true to size, breathable and responsive. Just amazing!

      Is the toe box really roomy? Robbe and Thomas are saying it ain't exactly Altra/Topo level, but is it more generous than e.g. Saucony Endorphin Speed/Pro 4?

    The owner of the company fell in love with Crossfit. They got into shoes with a Crossfit trainer a couple years ago that is very well reviewed. They've expanded since.

    Valkyrie is how it is spelled in Scandinavia and btw. Tyr means bull in scandinavian and is also the name of a norse god. Don’t know if they have links to scandinavia

    Tossing between this, SC Elite v4 and Hoka Cielo X1. Being a heavier runner with wide feet, I am looking for support as well as more energy return from the foam. Thoughts?

    Another race shoe around $250, too much choice and are they any better than the Endorphin Pro 4 etc? Also, the Metaspeed Sky Paris and Edge Paris are cheaper and, supposedly, better! Surely a new brand should come in at a better price if they want to muscle in on the market?
