Note that Fu Xuan didn't fight with her teacher to kill him. I worded some things differently.
After she used the Telescope, Lan arrived and fired their Lux Arrow. The arrow also killed many Xianzhou people along with the enemies. This is when her teacher died. But ultimately, Lan did arrive because of Fu Xuan, so she did kill him just as he predicted.
Another note - Yukong's close friend Caiyi also died in the war before Lan showed up.
Didn't Dan Shu's friend also die in this war or was it a separate war?

Perhaps this is why she's a Preservation unit. Damage mitigation on field equals Fu Xuan sacrificing herself through the Omniscia.

Nous is such an interesting Aeon, they won't give you the answer you seek, but instead they will give you a problem that will lead you to that solution. Nous probably might be our go to Aeon if we need answers regarding the universe, including March's history and her entanglement with Fuli the Remembrance.
He would give you the answer and it's 42 😂

@@arnowisp6244 That makes more sense to hear. Cause to say "She lost faith on Aeons" doesn't sound right. I think she lost faith in the value of her own life and the lives around her in general. Cause after she witnessed the scale of destruction an Aeon can cause, she saw a bigger picture in an astronomical scale. She saw how worthless mortal lives are. As she put it "If wiping out the enemy is as easy as breathing for an Aeon, then what was the point of all the lives that were sacrificed during the war? We are nothing."

But that does not talk about losing faith to Aeons, that talks about losing faith to themselves and how worthless mortal lives are when compared to the might of an Aeon. As in she says "100.000 lives lost were not enough to even match a single fraction of an Aeons might" that's what she ment.
I would love it if they could delve more into what yukong said about how aeon's don't care about the life of mortals, it would be really interesting if there's a faction that is planning to end the aeon system entirely along with the paths somehow, but I don't feel like star rail will go anywhere near that route at all which is fine too
I think there must be, it's a common trope in this type of story. Unless, power level is so over the top that it's already impossible. Maybe just maybe Nannok is that guy?
We do have that somewhat with how the Xianzhou people, being followers of Lan the Hunt

Yaoshi blessed their ancestors with immortality without caring or warning them about its consequences which plagued them for thousands of years to the point that a whole new path was formed (the Hunt) because of that desire to take down a path and its aeon

I mean based on even just this, it didn't seem like Nous didn't care for Fu Xuan. He simply told it as it is and was being objective with her.
I don't believe Yukong ever said that. That sounds more so like something the leader of Sanctus Medicus said, considering her friend ( Of the Medicus Leader ) died from Lans Lux Arrow.
Yukong more so talked about how insignificant the sacrifices people made at the war cause an Aeon can wipe out the enemy as easily as breathing. How it felt like so many people's death before Lan arrived at the war was pointless.
But I understand what you mean. I can very much tell how the story progresses torwards the majority of aeons not caring about mortals. Though I do not think Lan doesn't care about the Xianzhou people. After all, the path of the Hunt was discovered in order to protect the universe and the people from the Plague's Author and immortality. The fact the Lux Arrow killed many Xianzhou people as well, was just a consequence of how powerful an Aeon really is, something that couldn't have been helped.

I was gonna say if anyone can shatter fate it's the trailblazer. That's the overarching theme of star rail so far. Question is whether that would "free" Fu Xuan or only cause her to suffer more, knowing things are not preordained, that she may have saved her master, and that she is not absolved of responsibility beyond being a conduit of readings.
I hope one day she gets a proper story quest so we can actually learn more about her instead of getting invited to the express train as a side character to someone else's story like they did with Gepard and Pela as well
She shut her eyes as she is now trapped in the prison created from divination. There is only 'one' path
Her being so related to fate is quite interesting, specially since she mentions something about being unable to read Trailblazer's future and past "possibilities". Maybe Elio is the same and that's why he decided on making Kafka keep trailblazer around and bestowed him/her with an Stellaron and amplify their fate messing up abilities. Just look at how much they already impacted a planet and the Xianzhou

Ironically, Lux arrow is just like our mass destruction weapons in real life. Whenever it activated, ally, enemies or even the innocent, its all doesnt matter anymore infront of it
It is similar in destructive results (probably far greater considering the massive scale that is outer space), although unlike in real life with the use of the atom bombs the use of the Aeon's power here could be seen as morally justifiable in order to prevent the complete annihilation of the Xianzhou and to fight the evil that is the denizens of abundance. It does pose an interesting point though, that the Aeon's power is truly frightening and should not be entrusted to humanity... even if some of them use it for good. Ideally the Aeons should not exist, just like the atom bombs. But they will exist perpetually in HSR (as of right now), which is why one Aeon's power is needed to combat another's. It would be noble to say "we won't use the Lux arrow, it's power is too great for humanity to have access to" but the cold reality is they really don't have a choice when factions like the abundance and legion are wreaking havoc and destruction upon the cosmos. It's a kill or be killed scenario.

What would happen if her third eye would be removed? Would the regeneration close the wound?
From what I know is that, her regeneration tries to close in th gap where her third eye is, causing pain, also the eye itself causes pain as well, wich she endures for the sake of all....sacreficing herself. This raises many questions.
Fu Xuan is clearly some centuries year old, the reason why she looks so young is the previous infestation of Yaoshi's influence in the Xianzhou people. If I know right, all of the natives have a "blueprint" that corrects their bodies, so regenerates them, but that blueprint is usually about a body of their younger self, or what they born with? So if a person borns with defections, the blueprint will try to regenerate them to that misereable state, this is why implants are impossible to them...right? That sounds absolutely horrible now that I think about.
So I know that she and Nous "made a deal" but what I her eye is removed? Would that end her suffering?

Isn't she trying to prove to herself still that fate can't always be predetermined? Listening to her ultimate voice line it seems that way. Like she wont accept that the world's laws control everything because human creations aren't part of that calculation. I thought that the line "shutting her eyes" was in the sense of unwillingness to see the truth

Mann poor fu xuan :( but one small detail i would like to ask, if i remember correctly, isnt the realization that her Teacher is the only one who got the permission to use Cloudpeer Telescope, happened only after Fu Xuan gives her advice to Jing Yuan? Its gives a more impactful feel i think, rather than just saying it as if Fu Xuan knows it since the beginning. no offense and please correct me if im wrong

Wow, so Jing Yuan tried to restrict Fu Xuan from communicating with Lan because he predicted she would try to get him to fire the arrow? interesting. Didn't work though, lol.
So in a way Xianzhou is controlled by the matrix since they only act within the options the matrix gives them. And they wouldn't know if the matrix kept some outcomes or possibilities from them to make sure they act however the matrix or Nous wants them to.
It's her USB Type-C connector. There are multiple Fuxuan themed lamps and Bluetooth speakers on taobao to demonstrate this use.

because she is already imprisoned in one “path” and that is the preservation of Loufou for the “best” destiny for Loufou using Nous item. Genius Society members are people who ho beyond and seek knowledge to reach the truth of the world. While Fu Xuan isn’t seeking knowledge but more like trying to just receive knowledge.

There's a possibility that the war in which Fu Xuan summoned Lan was the same where Yukong's friend and Dan Shu's "friend" died, if I'm not mistaken.
She may've had a hand in the death of thousands of Xianzhou people, all in the name of the best future... such is the burden of foresight.
This is unrelated but I've just thought about this: what if finally killing yaoshi makes all the denizens of abundance and xianzhou people age very quickly and turn into dust? Also, have you all wondered what would happen to lan after erradicating abundance? Would they and the path of hunt just disappear?

It means she doesn't think by what she sees with her own eyes anymore, she will just leave everything and move according to the divination.
I want to say something most of the people we meet dosent really follow their paths on their planet/ship for example fu xuan despite being on a Xianzhou ship which all together follows the hunt she trusts(?*) i gonna use trust nous the erudition maybe because of the friendly relations they had with the xianzhou but ultimately fu xuan is preservation besides the game stand point which is for fun what really determines ones path? Kafka denied following nihility, jing yuan is an enemator of the hunt but goes by erudition so what really determines one path is one path determine by their life? Can one change? Or are all considered pathless?

It's probably their life goal, at least in my opinion. Fu Xuan follows preservation cause Fu Xuan is preserving xianzhous best fate/interest. Jing yuan follows erudition maybe he's searching for some type of answer. Nihility are for those who seem content but waiting for their destined fate. I am little unaware what harmony and hunt symbolize
But maybe they are just for gameplay who knows
@@BloodAngel_San They are definitely for the gameplay cause Jing Yuan make it obvious by himself that he is one of the successor of Lan (Aeon of Hunt) while never mention Nous even once. And Sampo also make it clear that he is most likely a Mask Fool and follow Elation path yet the game put him in Nihility class instead.
The paths during gameplay follow the traditional rpg class system (ie. Destruction = berserker, Preservation = tank, Abundance = healer/mage etc.). The path a character follows in the story does not necessarily reflect their path in gameplay. We see this with Jing Yuan as his kit is tailored to erudition, yet he outright states he’s a vanguard for the hunt

I gotta say Lan is my least favorite of the Aeons. I don't have much of an opinion on the others except Aha and XI, but Lan has caused too much suffering to the very people they're supposedly protecting. Like, really, how can they use an attack to destroy all the enemies but "accidentally" destroy an entire hospital in the process??
Because Lan only goal is to hunt down the enemies that they want and annihilated them, even if is cause a great damage to your own allies.
You literally can count on Lan if it has something do with the Abundance, dude gonna go nuking everything that has "Abundance" in it.
its not like lan has a choice, if they kept the enemies it would do more dmg than outright stopping them

If you play SU: Swarm Disaster, the aeons will make noises upon appearance.
You can go on phase 2 of phantalia boss, shutdown the music, you will hear "aha" laughing
The only aeon that seems to actually speak properly to us right now is only Nanook (I think?) from Doomday Beast cutscene and based on all 4 languages, it is a mix of both men & women voices which make perfectly sense.
Nous should be able to talk like a human does since they are a super computer, think of the Sumpreme Intelligence, Jarvis and Ultron of Marvel as an example

Yes it has two meanings. A physical pain as well as the pain to know that there's only one future.

And from Dan Shu's diary we learn that the Xianzhou native's bodies resist anything which is external ,, this leads to them suffering from the great pain caused by the resistance. So yes ever since Fu Xuan got her eye she has been suffering from both mental and physical pain !!

2. tell me why phantilya appeared of out nowhere, no explanation on what the giant lady original owner was before the fight, and why did phantilya picked jingyuan up in the fight, put him down again in the cutscene and picked him up for the 2nd time?
3. How the fk did pela found her parent's object or somesht in lynx quest when it's literally a few step outside of belobog? Pretty sure they did it to add more unnecessary melodramatic element into the game to prevent people from noticing the bad story and plot presentation. They use eye candy animation, music, and graphics to make you think that the story is good or make any logical sense when its not.
4. how the fk does the matrix take a single person's perspective and read the future of potential zillion of other life, natural causes, world/planet/galaxies, and event when one person's perception, unless its an aeon, doesn't mandate the whole universe' fate?
also if the matrix has infinite bugs, this is like the worst device to ever be designed in the entire game to predict the future or read the past. Fu xuan be looking like a scam artist now that I play through her "job" quest.
5. why the fk did our team threw Trailblazer to one v one cocolia and was surprised that we lost? what about the risk of a sterallon holder dying and destroying an entire planet? why is the guardian will a fking kid when an adult voice? why did a random ice from cocolia turn into a fire spear and not melting when we got the fire lance power? Why did cocacola cry while dying when the story have never explored what shes like before her death when they have only been showcasing how shes intentionally kill her own people while pretending to be crazy?
The story is dogsht, just admit it. literally just like hi3 but with a bit more braincell and less name generator sounding name and places. Fking "mars" and the moon. hi3 dev pretending to be nasa now? sht got the fakest science logic ever in anime games and they're pretending like they had a good world building. that world building and basic character introduction was nonexistent in hi3 until ch 16+ but I'm talking about other things at this point.
Just note that they abuse melodrama to have you get interested in the characters while pretending like the story is great or makes logical sense when it doesn't.
