Phidarian Mathis would definitely surprise me the most if he balls out.
Needs to be healthy
Literally 50 seconds in to this video I'm like, "Wylie..." 😅
That dude lol... But he did get/look a little better later in the season. Your thoughts?
@@kevintheprf6132 same thing I was thinking 😓
Percy or BSJ would probably be my biggest surprise but I have another one for you. The guy you offered up a double O for, Andrew Wylie, figuring it out and being a top 10 tackle or even a tackle we don’t have to worry about. Not sure it’s possible but would be a surprise for the ages with how many view him. My biggest disappointment would definitely be Terry just because of his ability and having a QB I’m super excited about.
6 sacks for big Phil 😂😂😂, I started dying laughing
Big Phil can play ball!
Phidarian mathis turning into anything at all takes the cake. This coaching staff drafted johnny newton, so it shows that even they don’t believe in him. I would be stunned if he got 6 sacks. Most disappointing would be terry mclaurin, but the idea of cosmi not showing up next year scares me more overall
Lou! Would be dope to have Craig Hoffman on for the Saturday series
I would be shocked if we got anything at all resembling 2nd round production from Phidarian Mathis. Stunned. Forget about numbers, just him looking the part.
Disappointed wouldn't even come close to describing how I would feel if the D in D Payne didn't stand for DOMINANT in 2024. I don't see any way that happens. I would be depressed.
I would extend Cosmi BEFORE the season so I would be most disappointed in him if he doesn't give us top 10 guard play in 2024.
Bonus: I would be SHOCKED if more than 5 of Ron's draft picks were still with the team at the start of the 2025 season.
One for each category not included:
Surprise: Ramiz Ahmed. Imagine if we got a backup plan kicker who's never held down an NFL roster spot and he's fire all season.
Dissapointment: Wagner. What if Seattle saw the writing on the wall and he's full on Thomas Davis in DQ'S speedy defense.
Andrew Wylie cementing that right side with Cosmi would surprise the most and Jahan falling short would disappoint the most.
Mathis would be extra surprising ngl
What do you think of Braden Daniels? I know he wasn't ready last season as a rookie but what about in his second season with a better coaching staff? Does he have any shot of starting or making the team as a back up? What about Ricky Stromberg? I think he has lots of potential.
I'm only 6 minutes in, so I don't know yet the rest of the list to come, but big Phil was a great choice. My first thought was Percy Butler, who would shock the F out of me if he finally breaks out, but..yeah...Phidarian Mathis being a presence would be a true shock!
I’d be most surprised if Andrew Wylie has a solid season as a starter and gives up less than 4 sacks on the yr. I expect all the guys in the secondary to have a much improved year. I’d be most disappointed if Andrew Wylie looks the same as or worse than he did last year and starts at right tackle😓
That would be SURPRISING definitely, but to say you would be disappointed if he looks the same is setting yourself up for disappointment.
@@anthonyking2871 yeah man I’m already a little disappointed that he’s still on the roster. If he doesn’t return as an improved player, I’ll be disappointed in the coaching staff for bringing him back after how he looked last season but I’m hoping for the best 💪🏿
@@brianbutler3186 yeah I’m baffled as to how he got thrown the keys without any competition, he was arguably one of the worst OLine players we had, a complete turnstile.
It would have to be dyami brown.. because if he's putting up those type of numbers as the 3/4 string wideout.. that would mean J5 is having a crazy year 😂
Dyami would surprise me most. I expect everyone on the defense to elevate their game with better coaching and schemes. I think BSJ is going to have a breakout type year under this staff in their aggressive system.
Any receiver should have a much better chance at a career year with a real qb taking the snaps in Washington this season. Can't catch what isn't thrown to you and I expect all wr's to have better seasons than last year. Brown can take the top off and now in Daniel's he has a man that can get it to him. I know he had his former unc qb throwing to him(or not) last season and Brown still didn't have any stats but I don't blame Brown for that at all, that's on qb and coaches. If Dyami makes the team I expect him to have more td's this season than his entire career so far, so atleast 4 td's. Daniel's loves to throw deep and Brown is the guy to go get um.
Percy Butler would be the biggest surprise because I don’t see him getting as many opportunities to see the field as last year.
Payne would be the biggest disappointment because Washington has already given him a second contract. All those other dudes are on rookie deals or have established themselves as foundational pieces to the organization.
Phidarian Mathis would surprise me if he finishes one game healthy this season!!
My most to least surprising: 1. Mathis 2. Jamin 3. Dyami 4. Percy 5. BSJ
😂 my man named all 3 career nfl touchdowns by Dyami Brown. Thats all he has is those 3.
If phil mathis has 6 sacks I'd be floored, I be impressed if he had 3 and played a solid role. I'd be most disappointed if terry miss 1k but it would be much worse if cosmi or dotson falls flat for the teams future
I think Dyami is done, Lou especially if Luke passes the eye test along with decent production. With St Juste i think he surprises at least just enough. Those coaches are probably gonna get more outta him than they can/will Dyami
I’m definitely going with Terry as far as who I would be most disappointed with underperforming. He’s been so consistently dependable his whole career, whereas Daron Payne’s 2022 campaign was somewhat of an anomaly. Payne was a solid lineman up until 22 but he had never put up eye popping numbers. However, I would be shocked if Terry didn’t get 1,000 yards. If anything I think this is the year he gets closer to that elusive 1,400 + yard season.
Mathis would be a bigger surprise in your scenario. I never thought he was a second day pick and there is very little difference between him and Ridgeway who was a fifth-round pick. The other scenario would be Payne because I think he is one of the better interior DL in the league so if he doesn't thrive in this defense, he was only a one-year wonder who played for a contract similar to Albert Haynesworth.
Mathis would be the biggest surprise for me.
From your options id be surprised by Dyami getting 700 yards and disappointed by Terry. Id be most disappointed if B-Rob takes a backseat to Ekler and regresses in a smaller role.
Disappointment would be zach ertz. Our game against cardinals last year, ertz was dropping alot of catchable passes granted josh dobbs was not accurate but zach ertz looked washed imo. Like i know he rested last season, but he looked as slow as logan thomas in that game.
Suprises would be Darrick forrest, I prefer darrick's physical attribute at FS over QUAN (and i like quan).
Most surprising to least surprising
1. Dyami Brown
2. Percy Butler
3. Ben St Juste
4. Phidarian Mathis
5. Jamin Davis
I do think Dyami will make the roster but not have a big impact through the air. I expect Jamin to have a nice season getting to the qb. Somewhere between 4-8 sacks I’d guess.
Most disappointed to least disappointed
1. Terry McLaurin
2. Sam Cosmi
3. Da’Ron Payne
4. Jahan Dotson
5. Emmanuel Forbes
If Terry plays all 17 and doesn’t get 1000 then this season went horribly cause that man gets to 1000 with horrible playcalling and qb play so I don’t know what happened if he doesn’t get 1000. If Cosmi doesn’t play well, we’re screwed.
To be honest I’m not expecting Forbes to be a changed player, I think there will be flashes but not enough.
Phidarian Mathis definitely deserves another season to see what he's got. As long as he's healthy enough to play and be a decent depth/rotation player, I don't see why he shouldn't be given a chance unless he's seriously injured yet again and is absolutely outplayed in TC/preseason.
That being said I'd be more surprised if Mathis plays up to your scenario than Dotson/St. Juice.
I also was saying all season long that Jamin Davis should be blitzing much more often. My goodness the last coaching staff was stubborn! Ugh.
Forbes my guy, made plays all throughout last year even against AJ Brown who got the best of him but still he got his plays in on him. I’d be very disappointed if the staff can’t show the real Forbes in year 2 and he can’t progress.
I wouldn’t be that disappointed in Payne if he doesn’t get to the mark you set, just would look at him as expendable.
I would be disappointed in Terry if he can’t get 1k if Daniels plays well and gives it to him and Kliff sets him up well, last year with Eric that wasn’t the case and he still did it so that would be bad.
If Jahan looks like how he did under Eric Bienemy under Kliff kingsbury and Jayden Daniels if he plays well and gives it to him I’d be EXTREMELY disappointed in him.
If Cosmi don’t perform I’d be more confused than anything, but that will also come with disappointment.
1-5 most disappointed to least
1. Jahan
2. Terry
3. Forbes
4. Cosmi
5. Payne
Phaderian Mathis and Terry McLauren. On the Defense, it is just going to be harder to get reps with all the good players. Not expecting PM to suddenly be lightning in a bottle. Conversely TM is expected to produce like a top 5 WR and has with what I can only assume will be the best QB play he has ever had should really shine. If he doesn’t that will be a huge dissapointment.
It’s definitely Mathis for me as a surprise. Jahan busting (pause) would be most disappointing
I will DEFINITELY be upset if Terry doesn’t get 1000 yards
Big Phil would easily be the biggest surprise to me, if he balled out. With the injury history and just not showing that type of potential production even when he's been on the field leads me to believe it's impossible for him to hit the achievements you mentioned. Forbes would be most disappointing to me because he was a 1st round pick. And considering how Whitt and Quinn have a strong track record of getting the most out of corners there is no reason for Forbes not to have a bounce back season this year. Hell, he didn't do anything last year so some visible positives should be easy for him to reach this year.
You Win: All 5 choices would surprise me equally. That RT having a semi good year would be a shocking surprise. On the other Hand: I would Not be Disappointed in Forbes (As Ron Rivera Always - Always--Drafted Back Up Players Every Round). I blame Ron Rivera placing Forbes in a Horrible Position. #HTTC
Surprise: BSJ. I just don't see him taking the ball away. To me, he'd have to be a lockdown corner in order to make up for the lack of ball skills.
Disappointment: Jahan. While yes, he felt like he was doing cardio, and I understand why, he DROPPED balls. With supposedly the best hands on the team, we cannl't afford to have what he does best, not be done. We're just not good enough at the WR position.
Surprise for me will be Darrick Forrest. Feel like everyone is writing him off now that we have chinn and quan penciled in to start but I think he balls out this year with this staff and becomes a turnover machine
I think Forbes not making for at least a solid #2 corner after this season would be the biggest disappointment. Not only because he was a first round pick, but more so because of the coaching staffs profile and the fit with Forbes traits (or at least those advertised..). In terms of importance, I think Forbes success is near the top because of the Question marks at our other premium positions. We still need a OT and DE which will demand a first round pick.. if Forbes doesn’t pan out, then we add CB to that list of first round needs and push our timeline out another year imo.. and WR will probably be another premium need 3 years from now.. that being said, if this coaching staff doesn’t get Forbes to at least a solid #2, it’d be a massive disappoint considering the cost is another first round pick to address his position, while we have needs at nearly all the other premium ones..
If juice balls there’s no surprise, I think your really overstating his failure last year as he wasn’t as good as before but not as bad as your stating.
Anything 400+ yards from Dyami is a god send, I don’t expect much from him so I would be shocked if he did that good.
Phidarian same I don’t expect much but if he does that I have no other feeling than shock.
Jamin wouldn’t shock me because he has the build and athleticism and was good at LB so he can do both.
Percy I can see it happen but based on the quantity of safeties I will be slightly surprised.
1-5 most surprised to least
1. Dyami
2.Mathis
3.Percy
4. Jamin
5. 🧃
I have said for a while, I think Wylie will be one of the biggest surprises. I think last year's system was garbage for him and I think he will benefit from Kingsbury/Johnson system.
We need to stop expecting that our 4th or 5th WRs making 600 + yards. Dyami had no chance once we drafted Dotson and signed Crowder. We got Zacheas and McCaffrey now. We might trade him cause he got too much talent to not get 3 targets each time
If Kwon Martin doesn’t solidify himself as the starting safety for the “25 season” I would be disappointed, especially with the buzz he has created within the organization and fan base.
We gotta stop hyping Percy butler… bro was missing tackles in the box letting RBs go for 64 and a TD last year.. his coverage skill had Russell Wilson look like prime form as well.. I’m good on him making the lineup… prefer reavo
The 2022 season was pretty good. Ron and the boys got our hopes up. That's why the 2023 season was a disappointment .
I am still rocking with BSJ.
Emanuel Forbes or Jayson Dotson being a bust would disappoint the most and either Jamin Davis or bsj will surprise the most if the ball out
Ridgeway might have been a DQ pick in Dallas so he will probably make the roster
I don’t want to jinx it but.. we all just assume Brian Robinson will play well.
Mando is the bomb Lou🎉🎉🎉
I think I'll try it out. I have extremely sensitive skin and most deodorants/body washes break me out in nasty rashes which is terrible. I hope this won't be another one. I refuse to use hygiene products that contain aluminum and other highly harmful chemicals.
Yes it is BD! Hope you grabbed some and used my promo code!!!💯💯
@@Joshua-bo2ln I recommend you give it a try. You know I'm all about using products that are as clean as possible, this one checks a lot of boxes, and if you choose to do so, don't forget to use my promo code!💯💯
Washington HailRaisers
St Juice is a Safety he should never play corner
I feel like my biggest disappointment would be Emanuel Forbes. When I look at the support that our players are getting now compared to the previous regime... I honestly don't know how much of these players lack of success has to do with talent or inept coaching. However, Forbes as a first round pick with all those expectations to then be run out of the league like a punk would be horrendous! Ron's staff praised him all last off-season and then stood around with their arms crossed when he struggled. I would be okay with Terri not getting his thousand if he has two or more bills in the playoffs. That means that the ball was being spread around nice and thick like! Also, that would take away my need to feel disappointed about Jahan. My biggest surprise? There are others I might prefer being a surprise like Dyami or Juste, but as far as actual surprise? Phidarian Mathis. I aint seen it to believe it. Hope he shows me what's up!
Ain’t no way BSJ gets more than 1 pick this season.. we will see thi
I'd be the most surprised by dyami or percival
Ima say Jahan Dotson has more to prove because he’s a 1st round pick and last year was a big disappointment.
Terry would be the most dissapointing
I would be most disappointed in jahan dotson just because I really like his game and I think he is a number 1 receiver so that would really disappoint me if terry goes for 800 yards and 10 td I'll be happy with that
I think Jamin Davis will have the best season under this regime barring injury my biggest surprise has to be big Phil I am a juste fan but I'm worried the most about dyami brown I hope he makes the roster but if one of these young dudes ball out he will be gone.... he'll end up on Seattle's roster
Most disappointed by the center that was on the Giants team.
Surprise Answer: Dyami
I might be one of the few that believes Dyami will make the team. But if Dyami get 600 yards and 5 TDs where he has to compete for touches with Terry, Jahan, Luke, Zach, Ben and Austin Ekeler my jaw might hit the floor.
Cosmi would be the most disappointing to me.
Mathis would be biggest surprise. I don't think he makes roster. Terry would be biggest disappointment. Playing with best QB of career
You mean terry working on 5
Lou, you hit on probably the biggest difference that will be a major difference maker between last year and this season, not just for BSJ, but the whole team....scheme. Last year, virtually every player regressed and underproduced. If it was just one or two players, you could just point the fingers at them as the problems. But, it was the ENTIRE team. That says that it was the coaches. It was the schemes. It was the packages.
We've made major changes that can do nothing but help these guys showcase their skills and live up to their expectations better than last year.
Yes Mathis not good
I think the biggest disappointment for me is new Washington QB Jayden Daniel’s because I like his performance the way he plays in LSU but my only problem is I don’t know if he have a full potential this upcoming season 2024-25 calendar year and plus Jayden Daniel’s would be scared of running with the football when he on pressure against the opposing defense players (especially big defense guys)
BIG DAWG LOU
