Give the man a life time contract.

He belongs in WAS now that we have the building blocks around him to compete in the next couple of years. The 49'ers fanbase want Mclaurin over Aiyuk really badly, haha. Heinicke and Mclaurin did all of that with hardly any 1st team reps in the offseason, imagine what he can do with JD5 and a full offseason and a better supporting cast around him and coaches. Mossing Gilmore was one of my favorite plays even if that was a bit underthrown, just shows who Terry is. Terry had a highlight play almost every week for a while there, like the midair spin adjustment against the Chargers - idk of another receiver who tracks the ball like him. Or the catch and hold on vs Tampa Bay on the long game winning drive to shut down Brady, or cooking Alexander vs Green Bay diving into the endzone.
Even with all the great moves the team made this off season, we have work left to do. With all the new coaches, players, and owner, nobody knows what to expect from us this season. New Offense and Defense style and play calling and more. So coming out year 1 as good as we can is MASSIVE. I am holding hope for us to get Aiyuk, even tho it looks unlikely. What the owner needs to understand is even tho we fans understand its best to build through the draft, BUT next year the opponent will know all those unknowns for THIS season. So much so, If BA where to get traded to us, I would buy season tickets today. We have a LOT of: IF this guy steps up, IF this guy works out, IF another WR can actually perform to take pressure of Terry, etc.....those may work out......but historically do not. Give the fans, and players something that is proven to make us BELIEVE. Yeah, we lose a 2nd rounder...and prob a player. But this is a proven talent that already gels with the QB. NOBODY on this team can say that yet....HARRIS: give me a reason to buy tickets......or even spend $ on games not on free tv. If not next year we will no have the surprise factor.

Biggest impact rookie other than Daniels will be Ben Sinnott. Young QBs best friend is a versatile Te and that’s exactly what I think he will be. My prediction for Ben is 65 catches 700 yards 7 TDs total
EB and Sam stated on multiple occasions that he and Sam communicated on what plays Sam was comfortable with and that he liked, no reason to think otherwise. What we never heard was Sam beating everyone into the building every day and being the last to leave, maybe he didn't put in the effort needed to learn the playbook that was needed to be be the QB we needed on Sundays…
Sam definitely couldn't read defenses since college days. Never got better. Maybe the system. One game with Scott Turner was ok. They probably ran the ball in that game against dallas.
Snyder was like the unathletic kid that served as the team manager in high school but instead of being a likeable person everyone could admire for his humility in a humble role, was weirdly trying to “shoot the s” with the athletes and do the poking fun game that’s reserved for between players. Jock sniffer is an appropriate nickname or adjective, but it was always a little more than that. The dude trying to make an edgy joke to fit in that takes it like 15% too far and makes everyone uncomfortable
That's an unfair assessment of McClaurin. Those other elite receivers have elite quarterbacks that are throwing the ball on time & can get the ball to them while in stride. Terry had terrible quarterbacks since he's been here.
Ben Sinnot....he should be the focal point of the offense.. .because he can line up in all formations...you can run the football with him...he can catch the football from FB...Move TE....in line TE ....he can lead block....he can pass protect in Shotgun on both sides...left or right of Jayden.....he can even line up at WR outside....he is the tip of the spear of our offense...or should be....imo...tbh

I'm nervous about the CBs and LT, too. They lack depth, but you can't fix everything in one off-season.
