  • This is Motley Crue Live in Quebec Canada May 6, 1984. Recorded on the Shout At the Devil Tour. This is the only full live show from the shout at the devil era that exists. Even Motley Crue has had to you this historic bootleg footage to be able to tell their story. If not for Bootlegs like this many important moments in music history would be lost.....FOREVER....This is the first time this footage has been uploaded to CZcams from the master tape remastered in 1080I 60fps digital HD.

    Holy shit ! I was at that concert, was just 16 years old, what a show, Accept opened up for them, they were just as good as the Crüe! The correct date is June 9, 1984, still have the ticket stub, infernal heat in there, came out socking wet, thanks for the memories. 55 years old and still rocking 🤘🏻

    Vince is killing it. His voice was epic back then. Micks tone!!! OMG. He had his monster tone from the very beginning. Tommy Lee was a drumming god in my teenage eyes. And Nikki was playing good as well. Back before he got on the backing track bandwagon.

      You ain't kidding, they were on fire here. I'm not sure if Motley Crue invented Glam Metal but I'm pretty certain they perfected it. I got into music because of KISS, I started playing drums because of Tommy Lee. His flashy style of playing, specifically stuff like the drum solo was mind-blowing to me.

    Saw this tour in the early stages. I believe it was the 8th date December 4th, 1983 at the Ritz Music Hall in Corpus Christi, Texas. The opener was a local band (Little Ducks From Mars) that got booed off the stage because they weren’t a metal band playing to a metal crowd. The venue was a 1500 seat theatre. The band was tight and put on a hell of a show. It’s the only concert I’ve ever bought a long sleeve tshirt at the merch booth. It had flames up the sleeves with the Pentagram on the front and dates on the back. Oh the memories of the 80’s and being a teenage Metalhead during that decade. It was a glorious time.

    I don't understand why Motley Crue won't budge on releasing more of the pro shot concert video they have from these tours.
    Every single tour is completely different from another. Each concert within the same tour is different from another. Why are we not allowed to see this?
    Do they not relalize there is a universe of people out here who would go nuts to be able see shows from eras they never went to or maybe relive show they were able to attend? Something is telling me it Nikki. Same thing with Axl, Dave Sabo and Rachel Bolan from Skid Row. They only gave us crumbs of live video and that's it while the rest of these shows sit in a vault somewhere.

    I saw them on this tour. They were weren't very tight, sloppy as hell, but the crowd energy was incredible. They were supporting Ozzy and I'd reckon the majority of the people were there for Motley Crue.

    My first show was 1985 Motely Crue at the Hartford Civic Center. I was in the 2nd row and was so loud I couldn't hear my moped engine when riding afterward. The pyrotechnics during the song Red Hot seemed to be way bigger than the other show I just watched. LOL, my face and arms felt the heat and was like opening a furnace door. The young women sitting next to me took off their panties and threw them to Vince who grabbed and gave or threw to Nikki. Everyone from the back rushed to the stage which was unexpected and was one heck of a first show.

    Seen this tour in May 1984 at the Amarillo, TX civic center. Saxon, I believe opened for them if memory serves me well. I had just turned 13 that April. I was the oldest out of us 3. They were 12!! Tickets were 12.50..12.00...? I know not over 15.00 for sure. Brenda, Felecia and I were on Mick Mars side.
    Vince's talk and questions were almost the same. Stage set up the same. I don't remember the song line up though. Just know Shout At The Devil was first with its intro. I remember Sixx having this huge bra dangling from his bass. Wow, a flood of memories. I could write so much more.
    What an awesome upload!

    Mötley Crüe's concerts were ALWAYS incredible! From their interactions with the crowds, to the insane Tommy Lee's unbelievable drum solo, to Mick Mars 🎸🎸guitar solo🎸🎸! Even Nikki Sixx's Bass solo was always fun especially with the interactions with the crowd. They were all crazy AF and they were ALWAYS kicking ass! I was so lucky to have been able to see Mötley Crüe open for Ozzy Osborne plus so many other bad *ss bands. The 🦂Scorpions🦂, Van Halen, Autograph, the Japanese band Loudness, and others. Those years were awesome. They had the absolute best music ever seen and heard!

Vince certainly doesn't have the same voice, nor do any of us at that age, although 99.9% of us have NEVER lived their lifestyle. For those who leave negative thoughts, why bother watching/listening. It seems you've already decided yet still watch/listen. Mötley Crüe fkn ROCK

    • @MrJackcorgi
      @MrJackcorgi Před 2 lety +1

      I've got a theory about why so many of their early songs were anthemic....
      Nikki's aunts husband who some some record company guy that sent nikki records as a kid probably told him that statistically ANthemic songs have a tendency to become hits.
      I guess it's a "secret to success" in the industry.
