YELLOW PERCH FISHING ON THE CHESAPEAKE BAY! (Limited Out!)

Now that hunting season is over, our minds are set on fishing season! The spring yellow perch run is almost here and the fish are staging in the deeper holes of the tidal tributaries. My good buddy Sam took us out to see if we could find them and we sure did. The bite was steady and we caught a limit of delicious yellow perch. like the videos. Would like to hear about your rigs, thoughts as to why casting to certain spots, strategies and some play by play. why you are throwing to certain locations, rigs you use and why etc. would add a lot to already good content. fishing the bottom when it is shallow?

Thank you for the constructive feedback. I will make sure to go more in depth about our rigs, techniques, and decisions. In this video we were using small minnows on 1/32 ounce jigheads floated under a bobber. The perch were hanging close to docks in anywhere from 3-8 feet of water. Bouncing a jighead along the bottom with a minnow also works well. Lots of guys use grass shrimp with bottom rigs too.
