I love this software so far. But it takes a pretty good base understanding of gem faceting to utilize this software. For example: When designing the Star Facets (Crown), one must know to start on the Index of "6". And while I know that is the correct Index, I have No Idea WHY ? But I guess I'll just have to experiment to see what happens if I change the 6 to a 3 or a 9 or a 12 or whatever to see what happens. Maybe I'll understand why it's done this way and maybe I'll just be more confused (as is often the case !).
