Value, window of opportunity, and long term success should be prioritized. The approach should fit achieving these goals. I get your statement but it is too linear… sometimes trading draft picks is actually better as long as we don’t go Ryan pace…prior to pace we were too imbalanced the other way…poles is the first guy I remember since the 80s that gets the business and isn’t bamboozled by shiny objects like fans…I sincerely think poles won’t do anything crazy and still make the right gambles. Bear down baby!

@@billocker4538I think too many fans are snake bitten by the Claypool trade to realize Sweat negated that and then getting Moore, Allen and Odunze will hopefully wash out any of the bad taste of that whole Claypool fiasco.

I like Judon. I would think hard on a trade. I would float a 4th rounder and see what happens.
So if I'm hearing you correctly you would give up a third for Judah for close to half of season but you wouldn't give up a second for Alan and you have them under contract for 2 years make that make sense Alan would be the better trade
Alan's contact is 20 mil judan is 7 mil so Alan isn't the better option cause we don't have cap room

Need a 3 Tech, but probably will have to wait for next draft. We won't have enough cap space for a good one, through a trade.

With the injury you could get Judon for a 4th rounder. At middle season it could be a 5th or 6th. I would do either.
With the offensive weapons we have it doesn't matter if the offensive doesn't improve he'll "CW" will definitely need his running shoes🤷🏾♂️

Dexter was our second round pick last year. Let him learn and develop behind Allen.
But I'm 100% sure Caleb will get that ball out quickly 2/3 secs click count- on short passes. He got it.
Expectations from 2023 draft class. Tyrique Stevenson will make the pro bowl. Tyler Scott will make an impact at WR. Noah Sewell is going to be a force at linebacker. Terrell Smith will see more action. If Gervon Dexter improves the Bears D line will be awesome.

Judon trade good pass rusher, not getting a better pass rusher with that pick. A chance to improve the roster.

Hell no, DONT trade any draft picks. We hear all this scuttlebutt about how much we have improved and how great we gonna be and fans still talking about trades. Something just aint right with that

Okay when you say recent years in the defense focused head coach having success what are we to finding here like must have Super Bowls well then that's Belichick and the Patriots but maybe that's not recent enough how about the Harbaugh's yeah Harbaugh is definitely more of a defensive minded coach Pete Carroll Seattle is always pretty tough but you say well they had Russell Wilson trust me that defense and beast mode got them more wins than Russell Wilson did or how about the Steelers and Mike Tomlin yeah they haven't won a Super Bowl in a while but he hasn't had a losing season in ever can we go with the Resurgence of Dan Quinn is that off the table what about the bills but if you want to look at success across the the NFL if the worst phase of a team's game whether it's offense defense or special teams if that worst phase is the same background as your head coach they usually don't do well Belichick with special teams defense their offense was pedestrian until Brady became Brady Andy Reid's teams have always been an offensive Juggernaut at all places he's ever been it was always his defense and let him down the big games until he got to Kansas City you need your head coach to have your best phase of the game or second best phase of the game as their background they can't be focusing on your worst phase and also be the head coach that's too much responsibility that's why Matt Nagy failed okay it's very simple but the Bears offense is bad you can't have it off of my head coach that's way too much responsibility and too many directions to be pulled in at the same time now if in 5 years from now and Caleb and the Bears office is her story and they just kick rear-ended everything they do and you want to change the head coaches then

The host sounds pessimistic also and I can't blame him... us Bears fans truly have PTSD OF DECADE+ OF LOSING NOT years! DECADE +. We love this draft selection, but man... I don't believe these young kids know exactly the atmosphere of losing they came into. PTSD of losing is a hard mentality to kick😅😅😅😅 hahaha. So I am truly hopeful this squad can not be down when they make mistakes or throw away leads and lose the game... because the comments will be brutal.... and that's the tough part I hope they can handle. Justin Fields was trying so hard.. blew some games and in the interviews he was somber almost didn't want to talk to reporters... we need this new squad to stay up believing they will break the cycle and just be honest with themselves... like damn I sucked today I blew the game etc...
