James Appleton is president emeritus of the University of Redlands, having served as president and university professor for over twenty years. Previously, he was vice president and a faculty member at the University of Southern California from 1972 to 1987. Jim completed his undergraduate degree at Wheaton College and his M.A. and Ph.D. at Michigan State.
