🇵🇹 | Alguns dos nossos encontros com baleias azuis (também algumas baleias comuns) durante a temporada de baleias de barbas de 2012.
As baleias de barbas são as baleias azuis, a baleia comum, baleia de bossa, a baleia sardinheira e a baleia-de-minke. Elas passam pelos Açores durante a primavera (março-junho) no seu percurso até Ártico para alimentação.

The baleen whales like blue whales, fin whales, sei whales, minke whales and humpback whales passes by Azores during springtime (March to early June) on their way to the Arctic waters to feed.

Hi, Thank you for your interest. We do have our resident species that can be seen during the rest of the year: sperm whales, common dolphins, Risso's dolphins, bottlenose dolphins. The best time to see whales here in the Azores is from March to June since the baleen whales are passing by during that period of time.
