@@joshnicholson2934 true for a lot or even most of tuned cars, but there have been some proper ones on this channel that were able to do a full lap without issue.
Finally a car that im somewhat if not fully convinced its actually 960 hp! The start was absolutely ridiculous, how the car pulls is insane, and well done controlling this much power in the first third of the lap. Thanks for this video Misha!
@Raiden0307 Totally agree, its so frustrating when owners claim certain power levels and you can clearly see from the speedo cam that they are nowhere near, two recent prime examples are the so called 1000bhp GTR and the 280bhp Fiat Coupe
@@superbrit3845 the gtr sure, no where near 1000hp more like 5-600hp, but why do u think the fiat coupe isnt 280? stock was 220 and its already lost some power due to 25 years of age?

I agree, 8 seconds to go from 50 kmh to 200 kmh is insane for any road car, especially 1 known to be a bit heavy & with zero weight reduction
That 2,3t (incl. Passengers) car went in around 5 seconds from 100 to 200kmh,although the slow gear changes from 6 speed zf. That's freaking fast.
From 0-100 it looks limited maybe due to massive power.
That car is just flying above 200😅

He did a faster lap in that car and I agree with you that car had stock power. The Nismo Gtr did 7.07 on the ring. No Audi has done that officially. Others may claim they have done it quicker as usual.

@@danielshinerock1526 and the owner was trying to make it look like a Nismo with the Nismo branding. Nismo wheels, Nismo race harnesses, big wing on the back.
But it was a 2017 or newer, you can tell by the chrome "\_/" piece in the front grill, the led DRL light placement below the headlights, and overall shape of the front bumper/fascia.

Exactly what I thought! In all of Misha's videos and in nearly whatever car he's ridding, it's only the Porsches getting away from him. Such perfect cornering and superb acceleration, that makes good track cars 👌

Nice lap, unfortunate for the limp mode but power seemed immense.
Not surprising to me. A lot of these heavily modified cars are as Tanner Faust aptly named them... "One Pull Wonders".

@@lowstrife That's because a lot of current tuner companies basically just chuck turbos + boost and a bit of engine management on cars.
If you have an ACTUALLY built engine and setup, you can reliably run 900 - 1200+ horsepower on track all day, but nearly every customer just cheaps out or doesn't care about adequate cooling because they never track the cars.

I really thought i was the only one who Noticed it. Somehow i got distracted because of this. Make 1 vid fine but she kept pulling her phone out. Just enjoy the moment....
I always get the heebie jeebies when a passenger has their phone out or they're chewing gum. The damage a phone could do in a high speed corner or braking zone could be pretty bad, and when people are chewing gum I always get nervous they're going to choke on it in a high g-force area. I think Misha should have a few rules in the car for the passengers (and his own) safety. I understand he's getting given these cars by people and perhaps doesn't want to be overbearing or disrespectful, but it always makes me a bit nervous just watching it.

its very difficult to keep a 900hp car cool. no problems doing short pulls but most can't handle extended hard driving without a lot of work to keep them cool@@coliimusic

@@Blafard666 Is that a surprise? Most cars on the channel are used mostly on public roads, they wont see the kind of heat that a Nürburgring lap creates anywhere else than on the Nürburgring.
@@banaana1234 Well as a car enthousiats but not connoisseur, I always imagined those high HP, super tuned cars could only really spread their legs on a track ... but not really, we see 300HP Hondas burn the track from start to finish and over powered Audis go limp half way ....

Its too heavy and will understearing in every corner.
There are no slicks on this earth that would have helped the understeer. Maybe if you'd put thick anti-rollbars in the rear + some cheap eco tires then it may get more neutral.

To be honest I would be surprised if it managed to complete a full lap without issues.
Tuned cares that actually deliver the promised power tend to overheat hence the limp mode
feels a bit stupid to me to tune cars like that without thinking about the heat problem

This channel has been a staple of my nighttime routine. I shower after work, make a bite and do some laps. Misha is a brilliant driver, I love seeing what the European modding community is doing to their cars. Driving in a straight line is so mundane compared to tracking a proper car. Heating issues. Both oil and coolant. People need to invest in cooling, not power.
I think it was boost hose popped off. Limp mode would've reset when he restarted

a lot of tfsi engines sound clunky on idle.
It's because of direct injection. It ruins the sound in a gasoline engine.

Pulled like a muvafooker haha. Wonder if the limp was caused by overboosting/underboosting. My golf mk4 used to do a similar thing till I changed the map sensor to a 4bar one on my 1.9tdi. Off and on would fix it usually.

A classic Audi - understeer like mad in the corners, destroy everything on the straights. You can also tell Misha is a classic RWD driver. I love watching him wrestle with AWD behemoths like the RS6.
and compare this with that 1000+hp R35 lol . Now we can see , that nissan was like 600hp-700hp or really badly tuned . Otherwise , amazing video Misha !

Heat soaaaaak. Seems to have been the theme of turbo cars this year. Car was wicked quick till it went into limp mode.
Part of the problem is that you build your car in a garage and test it on public roads or smaller / flatter circuits and all is good, then you go to Nurburgring with all uphill, downhill sections, pair it with less dense air due to altitude and you get overheating quicker than expected.
I know from my car, that at sea level track and same ambient I could run 800hp without overheating. At the Ring more like 600hp to be on a safe side.
The difference is more than one expects (partially due to how Misha drives 😅).

Yeah, but this isn't a trackcar.... it's not meant to be trashed on the most demanding track in the world.... It is tuned to be a hyperfast Salooncar on the Autobahn.... and that, I bet you, it will do flawlessly. It's a daily driver... overheating on the nurburgring with Misha behind the wheel is in no way the fault of that car and or its Tuner.

stock suspension? seemed to handle very well for a large heavy car. I get lots of power and good breaks and tires but the suspension seemed very well sorted wonder if that is natural for RS6?
