Remember, Jordan’s family of 10 didn’t spring into existence one day, she’s been building up to this moment since Hutch was born. I’ve only got two kids but I’ll tell you every trip gets easier and easier. I keep every packing list I make and the next one builds on it. I learn new tricks every trip. It gets easier.
Some days seem harder with two kids. I think it helps a ton when they take responsibility like Hutch and Prya do. They may not be very old but they are very responsible. Some days my kids are responsible but I think their two personalities prefer to goof off with one another all day and night. They are different when they are alone or without one another.
I love how you are teaching each child to be responsible for their stuff. I started the list with my boys too. They are very organized and prepared now with their own families! They all forgot something when they were little but not a second time! Enjoy your trip and stay safe!

Awesome. I’ve always followed a similar routine with ours (7) although I didn’t have the pods. Usually, depending on the trip, it all went in their own backpack or as they got older they each had a backpack And a carry-on they were responsible for!

We are planning a trip this year to go there and this makes me so excited! I love the chaos of getting things ready like this! Lol but I’m horrible for over packing!.. how in the world did you only take two suitcases!? That blew my mind haha!
Plan to do laundry. Be okay wearing clothes more than one day if it’s relatively clean (goes for you and the kids). Try and pack tops and bottoms that can be mixed and matched. And remember that the kids probably all share the same shampoo and toothpaste and you just need to bring each toothbrush. I can pack the clothing and toiletries for my family of four into a single large suitcase no probs. Oh, and remember, don’t be afraid to under pack, if you get there and find you could use another top or shorts, buy it there, make it a souvenir purchase or hit up the local Walmart. Anything you forget or find you need, you can buy in a major city.
I did too, about 2-3 years ago before a cruise & I used them & loved them!! My only thing is for smaller trips to visit family, I keep forgetting to use them!!! But I do use the shoe bags most of the time to keep things clean :)
Literally in the car on the way home from Disney World! Do the lightening passes and ask questions about how to use it!!!! Park hop...and understand you won't get to do EVERYTHING. Animal Kingdom is the best watch the tree of life show around 6:30pm! Magic Kingdom's fireworks are a must!

I live in Florida, really wishing we could just casually run into each other at Disney World! 😹😻 but also, this is completely random but I can’t stop myself from asking this: totally digging the pants you have on in the end of this video!! Would you mind sharing where you got? Really need some high waisted mom jogger pants !! Would greatly appreciate and can’t wait to see your next video!!
Yes, I agree that the older the children get the more things they can do independently, whether it be packing for a trip or doing laundry. My sympathies go to the family on the dishwasher... the greatest taboo is when you're getting ready to go on vacation SOMETHING in the house will break down right before you leave. But hopefully it should be a quick removal and replacement. Those snack bags are brilliant, especially since airport food is super expensive. However, I should stress that there are people who are allergic to peanut butter (myself included), and having traveled by airline it can be dangerous for those that have the allergy, because the last thing to happen is for the plane to be diverted to the nearest airport because of a medical emergency. Hope your trip was successful and fun!!!
Love this! I am curious where the back packs go … maybe you relate this in a video I missed (sorry !) but I noticed they pack there snacks in them. So do the back packs go in there seats on the trip…. They seemed kinda big , but I realize y’all also got a pretty good size family vehicle. I can’t imagine packing regular size back packs for each of my kids to keep with them in our vehicle. But I wish I could 😛
Before covid we did a long road trip , whit 2 kids, lots of packing, food, drinks, snacks, clothing, shoes, diapers, wipes, Camping supplies, medicine, toilet supplies, bug spray, and entertainment.....LOL I went crazy mentally so much packing, and I have 2 kids ...... imagine paking for 8 kids!!!!

Curiosity...In previous videos you talked about how you do not allow your children to do sleep-overs, including at family's homes, unless you and/or Bubba were there. How are the youngers cared for when you do trips with the olders? Family/sitter stays at your home? Both my hubby and I liked the no sleep-overs rule and are just curious how you handle that.
