      -- How you can print stickers at home -
      If you are using the sticker paper Avery, you want to download the sticker template from their website. Then you want to upload that template to Canva. If you can’t upload the file to Canva, try taking a screenshot of the template and uploading it to Canva.
      Open your sticker template from Canva (make sure the design is 8.5”x11”). Once the design is open, drag and drop your Avery file or screenshot image to the page. Make sure the Avery file is taking up the page. Meaning it’s 8.5”x11”.
      Next, drag and drop your circle stickers on the template(your Canva design). Align all your stickers to the Avery circle template. Once you are done doing this… Click on the layer that has the Avery template and go to “opacity” to drag it to 0, so it does not show the Avery template, only your sticker design. 2nd way you can do this would be to duplicate page 1 and remove the Avery template and only have your stickers on the page.
      ** Repeat
      Next, you want to print your sticker designs on a regular piece of paper, not your sticker paper. Take your sticker paper and put your printed paper that has your designs on top. So, you should have at the bottom your Avery sticker paper and on top your printed paper with your sticker design. Here you want to see that your stickers align with the sticker paper. If they don’t , you need to go to your Canva design and move your sticker design up, down, left or right to make sure they align to your sticker paper. Repeat ** until your stickers align with sticker paper.
      When all your stickers align with the Avery sticker paper, you are ready to print your stickers onto the sticker paper.
      Hope this made sense! 😬😄
      I will try to upload a video on how to print stickers at home. The sticker paper I will be using will be Avery. Subscribe to my channel, so you can get notified.
      You have a wonderful day!
      Sincerely,
      Susana 🥰

    Hi. Great video! How can I have/see lines to indicate where to cut after printing if the background image is just white? It would be great if there is a cut guide on every card shown.

    • @cucudesignstudio
      @cucudesignstudio  Před rokem +1

      Hello @charityfaithbacarro336!
      What you can do is add a black line to the edge of the cards. That is what I do. It makes it easy to see the edge of the cards to be able to cut.
      Just go to the left hand side and select “ elements”. Go to the category “Lines & Shapes” and select the line.
      Hope this helps! 😁

      @@cucudesignstudio Thank you for the tip :) I see some instructional videos that say to save the design as PDF (with marks and bleed", select Print, then select Save Paper. This immediately fits all designs on one page. I tried to do this but I see no options like "Save Paper". Does it depend on the printer you have?

      If you want to select the PDF print options with crop marks and bleed. You do the following (this is the way I do it):
      Step 1: click on the button “Share”. It’s on the top right
      Step 2: Click on “Download”
      Step 3: Under “File type” select “PDF Print”
      Step 4: Click on the check box “Crop marks and bleed” to select it.
      Step 5: Under select pages, only select the pages you want to print.
      Step 6: click on download button. Make sure you know where you saved your file.

      The printer I have at home is an HP Tango.
      To print my design, the PDF file I just saved. I first place card stock paper in my printer and then click print. That easy! My design is printed and ready to cut.
      I don’t have to select paper type or the option “Save Paper”.
      Hope this helps! 😁

      I work from my tablet and when working on my projects I open Canva from my browser Chrome. When some of my Canva functions like Copy, duplicate, etc don’t work, I just refresh and I am back to normal.
      Did you try refreshing?
      If you are using the app, try closing the app and opening it back up.

      Hello @1ov3.wright98 !
      To group your text within your design, you want to do the following:
      ==> Drag your mouse over more than 1 text box and click “Group”. If you are using a tablet or smartphone, you want to select a text box with your finger and then click on the 3 little dots.
      ==> Click on “Select multiple”. You will get a pop-up message that will say “1 element selected”. Go ahead and select as many text boxes as you would like and then click “Done” and “Group”.
      Thats it!
      Hope this helps!

    • @cucudesignstudio
      @cucudesignstudio  Před 5 měsíci

      Hello 👋🏼 @ltzMePrettyVicky ,
      I don’t use margins. I just make sure I have a little of white space on the edges of my cards. When I print them they come out perfect. But remember, each printer is different. I always print my cards on regular 8.5x11 paper first before printing on card stock.
      Hope this helps! 🥰

      @@cucudesignstudio I’m trying to print double sided flyers and the back doesn’t align with the front. Also. About an inch of my design is not printing. I tried to make the size smaller 5.5 x 3.5. That helped but the back and front still don’t align so when i cut them it’s not even

    • @cucudesignstudio
      @cucudesignstudio  Před 5 měsíci

      @ltzMePrettyVicky
      To fix that what you want to do is the following. Copy page 1. That will create a duplicate page of pg 1. On the page you copied , which is now page 2, you want to overlay the back of the card on top of the front design. In other words, you will have the cards on top of each other. Make sure they are both the same size.
      After you are done, go to your layers option. Make sure you are on page 2, then go to the top left and click on “position “. Select the layers tab and delete all the designs of the front card.
      On pg 2 you should now only have the back designs.
      When you print the cards, they should be aligned.
      Try it!
      Let me know if this helped.
