Hey mate use the ruler or a measuring device. Approximation could ruin the vehicle. It's good initiative though to make this video but technically it's not sound. I've been riding different GS since a decade and doing the minor and major technical jobs of GS and in every case the "approximation” especially of the "chain adjustment” without using the technical device have ruined the machines. Please check the correct adjustment. GS should always in straight position (possibly center stand or paddock or halter stand) while doing this job. Please mate don't mind it. I'm telling you it's because I messed up with GS earlier. Best Wishes 💐
I agree. The BMW service center guys also did an "approximation" while adjusting the chain tension of my GS310. However, within 1 week only the chain started clanking on the roller... Any idea how to resolve this?
