Sorry Peter et al. Neither Dykes or Adams have done anything to make Scotland a scoring threat. Shankland has not been given the run of games as these two players and if he is , we will see a player that will make a bulge in the onion bag!
Could not believe my ears yesterday when I heard Neil Lennon saying we have 2or 3 world class players singled out Teerny as one he will be a Celtic player in a season or two for 5 or 6 million worlds class players can walk in to any teams 😂 no wonder no one is looking at him for a manager's job😂😂

How can N.Ireland be the wrong opponent ? In my eyes they were the perfect opponent as they have been a shocking run so it was a chance to bang a few goals in and boost confidence. Listen these lads can turn it on when the big stage arrives in June. Come on Scotland.

Shankland works just as hard off the ball as Adams and Dykes, he links the play better and he's a more natural finisher. He hit the bar from an opportunity he created himself by working hard and forcing the defender into a mistake! It's not his fault the manager uses his forwards as decoys and battering rams. These so called pundits will be moaning that he doesn't score in the 10 minute cameo appearances with no service, that he inevitably gets in Germany.

Qualification is the achievement. Just to be there is progress. As a 40 something the dross we saw back 20 years ago when I gave a shot compared to today is night and day. No way is Gunn better than Gordon, for a start Gordon is better at Corners and a good shot stopper, and his vast experience is essential against Germany 🇩🇪 play Gun we lose. The big mistake was not playing Dykes he would have roughed up their defence and I would have Adams along with him.
Load of rubbish. Shankland being judged on his goal scoring this performance then the absolute hypocracy when it comes to Adams and Dykes. Shankland needs at least half the time those two have had to get going for Scotland, What a load of hot air.
