- i finished my oxford law degree. heheeeeeeehe!!! this is how i took care of myself while studying my way through a month of online exams. we had 9 papers, each 4 hours. not sure how i'm still alive, but here i am!

Kwok, don't know if you know this, but the little musical snippet that plays at about 3.30 is from an old hymn called 'it is well wth my soul' - and to me that just encapsulates how you've walked through this whole oxford journey - taking the tough bits and all the joys in your stride, and finding a way to stay true to yourself in it all. I just wanted to say thank you. A while ago, I wrote to you asking for tips on how to ace my Oxford application. You didn’t manage to get back to me, but that’s ok! I know how busy you are based on your videos. (Congratulations on finishing your degree, btw! 🥳)
I wanted to thank you because your videos at Oxford are what inspired me to apply, and what kept me going despite the immense fear I had in applying!
I guess you could say that I was living vicariously through your Oxford experience, and channeling that energy into my own.
I’m happy to announce that I got accepted! 🥳
And I just wanna say that I couldn’t have done it w/o you. So, thank you. Thank you for showing me the good, the bad, and the ‘ugly’ side of Oxford. It’s tough, I’m sure of it. But knowing that you did it, makes me feel inspired and motivated that I can somehow do it too.
Although I don’t know you personally, and although my classes have not started, but I feel like I already have an Oxford friend to go to when in need. Thank you, Kwok!
