I just finished applying and doing all my paperwork yesterday for this course. Iâm really looking forward to it. Full Sail really wants you to succeed using the best equipment. Iâm really excited to get started.

Hi I finished in 2020. You guys are blessed we received 2 Audio technica mics. I had to purchase my SM57 but I am not mad. I love how they continue to improve. So did you graduate? If so what are you doing now? I was in audio productions too.
Yes I graduated last year in July. Currently I have been running my own Recording Studio here in Flint,Michigan

I started in august and they sent the Launchbox the next month Iâm guessing itâs different depending on which classes u take I didnât do the gen ed classes so after the first two classes I started my core classes and thatâs when they started sending out equipment

Did you pay for anything in the launchbox?
Financial aid it was apart of the degree program
Make sure you finish your degree. Because if you donât, you owe the full amount of the launchbox, which is usually around $5k

@@kyrahenson8731 the launch box is $5k and is part of your student loan. If you leave, fail, or whatever you decided and you donât finish your degree. You still owe the student loan, correct? Meaning you owe the cost of it. Thatâs exactly why they make you wait a few months before sending it. Because a lot of people drop out in the beginning and a most drop out during the portfolio classes.
Audio and Music Production are the same thing at Full Sail, right?
no, the music production degree is more towards understanding music theory and making beats, etc. But some classes are in both degrees

Yeah for sure , but Iâve been recording music and had a degree in music tech before I went to fullsail so I was already familiar with pitch/tune

Hey itâs going great so far! I think recording arts program might be better because you learn about different parts of the industry from music games and movies and live sound
Audio production program we have been doing more audio editing and production. They have a few cool courses for sound design for games and movies in the audio program
