The Southern Tour Continues! We've been having such a great time touring the southeast on motorcycles, and this day was no different! In this episode, we start off the day in Cave City, Kentucky at the Wigwam motel to hear some great history before heading over to meet our friend Leticia Cline! Leticia then takes us on a ride out to Loretto Kentucky to take a full tour of the Maker's Mark Campus!

For this Trip, we decided to save some time and flew into Nashville versus riding there and back, and hopped on some @EagleRider rentals. Overall, it was a great experience and something a little different than our usual travels...good times!

ABOUT CAVE CITY, KENTUCKY
Cave City is a small city in Kentucky. Nearby, Mammoth Cave National Park’s vast cave system contains passages, chambers, rock formations and underground rivers. Above ground, trails wind through forest and around the Green River. At the Hidden River Cave, the American Cave Museum has geological and archaeological exhibits.
Cave City's main industry is tourism, thanks to its proximity to Mammoth Cave National Park. A number of motels and restaurants are located at the Exit 53 interchange of Interstate 65 and Kentucky State Routes 70 and 90, which cater to tourists visiting the area.
ABOUT MAKER'S MARK
Maker's Mark® began with one family's quest to create a bourbon they enjoyed drinking and sharing with friends. That's hardly revolutionary today, but in 1953 it changed an industry.
Bill Samuels, Sr.'s quest to create Maker's Mark began with his only copy of the family's trusted, 170-year-old recipe. The one the sixth-generation distiller promptly set on fire, of course.
After accidentally burning a set of drapes in the process, Bill experimented with different flavoring grains, searching for a mash bill all his own. To save years of aging time, Bill baked several loaves of bread with various grain combinations instead of distilling them. His quick thinking not only saved time but also led him to swap out the traditional rye grain that is commonly used in bourbons for soft, red winter wheat. This replaced the hot bite of rye with the delicate sweetness that Maker's® is known for today.
ABOUT LETICIA CLINE
Leticia Passmore, a.k.a. Leticia Cline is an American journalist and model. She is best known as a former interviewer for TNA Wrestling, Maxim Magazine, the reality show Beauty and the Geek.
Cline began modeling at the age of 14. She went on to appear in a number of American magazines and spent a year modeling in Tokyo, Japan. She then focused on her education, earning degrees in psychology and finance from the University of Kentucky in 2000 and eventually became a certified public accountant; she worked as an accountant for four years.
In 2017, Cline became the first and only female Harley Hooligan Flattrack racer and even competed in the4 2017 ESPN X Games. Cline has completed many cross country motorcycle trips including a few Iron Butt awards.
In 2018, Cline moved back to her hometown, Cave City, Kentucky and opened a free community motorcycle garage named Smiley's after her late father. Cline also opened a bar, The Dive, with her sister and mother. Cline sits on Cave City City Council and is renovating an old Theater from the early 1900s named The Ace.

I love these videos! Fun Fact: my first long road trip 15 years ago was from the Chicago suburbs to Mammoth Caves, KY. We didn't stay in the WigWams, but we did stop for a picture. :) It was an epic trip that I need to take again! Thanks for documenting all of these rides! Stay safe!

I was stationed at Hill AFB in the 70's. Lived in Layton, Clearfield and got married for 10 years. She wanted to go back to SLC but I wanted to stay in Alaska. Well we both won. I'm happy single. See you guys in Sturgis.

I have really enjoyed this series. We just bought a new Street Glide so my wife and I can start doing some longer trips,and these places are in our back yard so to speak. We live in West Virginia so that would be definitely some great places to travel to, and get in some miles on the new bike. Years ago I lived in Southern Indiana, and I would make frequent trips into Fort Knox, Casey County, and Somerset County, and this was in the late 60s, and early 70s, what a beautiful country,. Some of my friends would say about Kentucky sarcastically," the land of fast women and beautiful horses." As far as I was concerned, there were some very pretty ladies there.😊

What's up Gavin, thanks for watching!! Hard to compare as my Road King is built to my liking and the EagleRiders were stock. I'd take my road king any day, but I really enjoyed the street glide. The street glide has a bit more wind coverage for the chest than my road king does, but i'll be doing a full fairing on the road king soon anyways. I just like how light the front end is on the RK👍
