I thought the twist was going to be that the guy wasn't even an actor and just the guy who brings the actual actors coffee, which made the real ending even more unexpected

Oh god tomska strikes again with his comedic genius
Does anyone else think that, unironically, this method would be great for both director and actor in order to get the best line delivery? Like, start with their default, move them around the emotions and characters and everything, even the ridiculous ones, then to the best version
You'd have to be careful, to much and you'll annoy your actors and crew so much they won't be able to perform.
I mean it's a 3 second clip you can't spend all day on it
For important lines sure but if you do it with every line, movie filming could end up taking decades at that rate, and some lines just arent that important to spend the time on
This is a tactic that actually does get used.
The way this comment and the replies are worded, I can't tell if y'all just straight up forgot that script-reads and rehearsals are a thing.
