@Jonathan While loyalty is an issue, the addition of heroes has made such a victory possible. If you get Hercules or really any of the good combat heroes, you can wipe out a civ mighty soon. Also, it doesn't have to be a dom victory. I remember PotatoMcWhiskey using a strat from civtrader for a culture win.
@Jonathan Also, he only needs to capture the capitals. With good rng, he can do that mightily fast with heroes.
I feel like you made a few setbacks in some of the earlier turns which could’ve made this finish be on turn 100 instead. Still extremely impressive, didn’t even think it was possible! I loved how you built three armies to make your war effort work.

I must say I'm really impressed by your timing and planning of turns. Rarely a wasted action. I'm learning a lot as a person who is limited to winning 50% of the immortal games and 5% of the deity ones (noob).
I'm not sure if you know, but Battering Rams and Siege Towers do stack together. You can destroy the walls while bypassing them at the same time.

I've peaked at an interesting policy both for new world growth and also for naval invasions: Colonial Offices gives you 3 Loyalty for cities outside your capital's continent, so with that and maybe some other loyalty boosts (Amani, Limitanei and building Monuments) you can mantain the Loyalty more easily when going to other continents.

Do Pingala's bonuses apply to city projects? For example if you finish Campus research do you get 20% more science than you usually would?
Hey Civtrader6, or anyone that knows. Can you chop up a bunch of woods in a city at one time and 'store' it for the next production if it goes over the current product? Or once you chop it, it's used and whatever was extra is gone?

The Terracotta Army is also my favourite wonderful but not because of the level up its because it allows the city where its built to generate 2 troops instead of one. I usually use it to create a big army and rush my neighbours

Where have you been the last 4 months
very impressive gameplay, just a minor note though: you are definitely wrong about barbarians without camps, they will basically suicide on the nearest unit as soon as the camp is gone. If there is no unit nearby they will just attack your city, but I've never seen them pillage after the camp has been eliminated.
JohnnyK1977 no u both right, some cases the scout will runaway and some cases they will suicide. The scout without camp will not pillage improvement but they will take your worker or settler and still pillage trade routes. Based on my experience.

I'm Danish, but my guess would be that he's German as well. Although it did sound like he had open windows at one point and it's pretty cold out, so who knows.
My guess would be that he is Dutch or Flemish (Belgian). Those guys tend to speak English very well.
You finished this game before most of the 'best leaders' in this game were born. Of those who were born, Hammurabi, Ashoka or Hatshepsut were the only choices. Or is "Peace in our time" ironic?
Maybe it was, because Hatshepsut was dead before you declared your first war.
