@@thelettermanpodcast I was fortunate enough to have gone 3 times. I also was on the nbc tour when the was on late night and toured the studio. I was just a kid but I sat in the desk before I was instructed to get off. I grew up a Dave fan
This was back when Twitter was more a fun hang and less a hellacious, neverending baron landscape of trolls, idiots, and sports reporters.
This was a big moment culturally when it happened. It was in the papers for weeks. It’s amazing how fast technology move.
In an odd way, Dave is still here and “Twitter” is not.

If you look closely to the right side of Dave's laptop screen, you can see a bunch of tweets making fun of Donald Trump for dropping out of moderating a Republican Presidential Debate in December 2011. Kind of a spooky glimpse into the future considering this is an 11 year old clip.
