- Today (4th), Jia Jia had full access to both the exhibits in the morning. Kai Kai stayed in the den while Jia Jia explored his exhibit. This is also part of an enrichment, especially since the breeding season is approaching.

This is a good move, both Jia and Kai have been introduced to the two exhibits and are familiar with the surrounding they will naturally leave their marking as if in the wild and wait. In this case Kai Kai will approach Jia Jia during the mating season. The River Wonders is making this panda exhibit seamless to help our panda Jia and Kia make the next baby panda 👍💪❣️

A great enrichment program for Jia Jia to walkabout in both exhibits to hunt for her food. Some bamboo are placed up on a certain height and this form of placement will stimulate Jia Jia’s mind on how to reach out for the food. Smart Jia Jia!
