Tip #4: dip the ball fast at your own comfortable speed and launch fast.
Tip #5: be a one motion shooter.
Tip #6: Snap the release fast and hard.

I want to add something to the first tip: only dip when you are doing and catch and shooting. Also, when you catch the pass, you should load your hips and at the same time dip the ball(hips and ball move together).

Coming from a player myself, all these techniques mentioned in the video are 100% valid and will undoubtedly improve your range. But sometimes you may not have enough strength in your arms and wrists to get a accurate shot off, so I’d recommend doing shots without jumping and doing weight training targeting your upper body and lower back as well

Not sure if this tip would help, due to multiple slipped discs along my spine, I started shooting high arc shots about 1.5 feet behind the free throw line without jumping as landing is painful for me, like a car without shock absorber. Been doing this for about a year, now I can shoot 3 about 2 feet behind the 3 point line with very little jumping. The trick is to aim and shoot higher, finding the “flicking up” and “pulling down” sweet spot on your fingers just before the ball leave your hand. I can shoot 3’s for like 1.5 hours without getting tired. The best way I can describe the mechanic is it is like a catapult. When you feel that sweet spot, you know the ball is swishing in before it does :-)

When people say that they don’t realize that technique is everything, that’s the reason we “practice” is for our bodies to develop the perfect technique to do something specific. You can’t shoot with the same form from 5 feet as you do with 30 feet. You naturally have to make changes for range.
Technique is why Usain Bolt out runs everyone because he mastered the perfect running technique through practice. That’s why Lebron is a great one foot dunker and etc.
