    Is that aluminum foil?

      It is. I should mention that foil can increase temperatures (think about baking in an oven) and I've since moved on to using Press N Seal wrap to cover my pots. It won't hold heat like foil does and it's food safe.

    Do you just use 1 frozen bottle per day or how long does it last?

      In the middle of summer, I was adding 1 bottle in the morning, and in the afternoon, I would replace it with another frozen bottle. I work from home, so I was able to do this, but if you can't be at home to add 2 bottles, then just add 1. Keep an eye on the plant and roots for signs of stress and root rot. After growing tomatoes outdoors a few times you will learn how the plant behaves and what kind of heat it can tolerate
