- In this video we check out the iPhone 15's USB-C port and a few use cases for video production and some new camera features. A first ever in the iPhones, the USB-C Port seems to be unlocking a lot of potential for use. Any wireless keyboard and mouse can also be used and turned on in the Accessibility menu under Touch/Touch accommodations. How are you using your iPhone over there?

Very thorough and concisely edited video, best I've seen on the topic, great job! - I like how you also take a realistic approach. I've been seeing too many "this will replace your $4k camera" videos. The iPhone cameras are 13mm f/10, 24mm f/6.3 and 77mm f/24 (120mm f/21 on the Max) fixed aperture equivalents to full frame. The fixed aperture alone disqualifies the cameras from many shooting scenarios, not to mention those fstops. When has a photographer ever reached for an f/24 lens 😂
lol, you got it DigiDrift. Its a nice camera to have in your pocket 24/7 but the small sensor definitely shows its capabilities in lots of scenarios. I will stick with my DSLRs for real gigs. Thanks so much for checking out the video and your kind words, very much appreciated✌️

Btw, be careful with that Sandisk SSD. There are apparently issues with some of their drives spontaneously deleting data.
The Verge and Zdnet had a few articles on them. Hopefully they have fixed the issues.

Thanks for looking out man, I was using those Sandisk drives for over a year before that news dropped, and it definitely freaked me out, but I still have never had any problems with my versions. Too bad that Apple has disabled the option to connect an external camera to the USB-C port. I would like to use an endoscope camera. Very annoying!
It sounds like companies are trying to crack the code, I know what you mean though. Have you checked out the Accsoon SeeMo? does the endoscope have an HDMI out? Might be able to rig and record somehow. Good luck and thanks for checking out the vid!
Can we figure out a way to rig it using hdmi out of a camera like R5C and usb-c in in this - to use as a storage device and monitor in one? Wonder if we can figure out the hack to this just for fun

I was gonna get the ESR case like last year, but saw a Mofit (?) case with a cool magesafe wallet stand..blue looks cool. Max or regular pro? @@TheFloodLightShow
@@VidTechwRick I chose the promax this year. We’ll see how it goes, I definitely am on the same page about having a huge phone. The zoom is not the greatest, but it definitely comes in handy in a pinch, and it’s nice to have an extra bit of reach now. Good luck with the decision, I know it can be agonizing. Talk to you soon.
I know I think my last max was the 12 max and I hated it but I don’t know… I didn’t have the money on launch day. Then my Apple Stores were out of the regular pro, but they had plenty of Max now my Apple Store has exactly the phone I wanted regular pro blue titanium with 256 gigs, but no max! 🤦🏼♂️ I’m sorry, Matt, I’m talking to you like a friend… But now I know I’m just a super fan 😄
