    Nice trip, glad to see a good passage for you. What's the travel plan for this year?

      We are working our way back to Malaysia. We will be settling down in Penang for a while as the kids will be in High School. That's the plan...but COVID 19 has really altered the speed of international travel..... :)

    If your sailing Micronesia will you be discussing the environmental impact of the concrete dome????

      I am not even sure what the concrete dome is? :)

      @@mdsilvers its on Enewetak Atoll, and its called the runic dome, the tomb. Its the Atoll where the US did a bunch of nuclear testing then bulldozed the radioactive material into one of the creators and covered it with a giant concrete dome but the material is leaking out through the ground and 8nto the ocean.

    Love your vessel. Antares 44. Are they a great live aboard boat? Do you suggest that this boat would be a good purchase?

      Larry they are great live aboard boats. In my opinion the best in it's class of 44ft. I would not buy another brand of boat if I was going to live aboard and cruise the world.

    Hello, my name is João, I am 19 years old and I was born in Brazil, I love the sea, at just 16 years old, my father bought a 10-foot sailboat and I sailed from Garaboa beach in Santa catarina, to the island of Coroal in Santa Catarina. This year, I am going to lock up my college and venture out to sea, I want start in Rio de Janeiro and go to the micronesia, crossing the Atlantic, the Indian until I reach the Pacific I have a lot of experience in making small crossings, especially with storms, but a travel this big, I need advice;
    Note: I'm going to buy a 30-foot sailboat this year
    sorry to bother

    None of your products or plants needs to leave the boat so why is that a problem to Palau? it is sad that the plants your kids grew from seed had to be throw away and now, of course, you have to buy all new fresh food, good for Palau right, nice little earner.

      Hey Mike. Thanks for the note. Yes, a lot of countries have different regulations. The strictest we've seen are Australia and New Zealand. Palau is strict as well, but not as bad as Australia. Other countries don't care, just so long as you 'keep the items' on the boat.

    OK, so sorry confused, your plants will not be taking themselves to the island and I feel it is unlikely that you will take them for a sightseeing trip meaning that they would not leave the boat so really what is the problem and how does Palau think they could be a threat? To me, it is a bloody shame to destroy good healthy plants that your kids have grown and tended from seed, bureaucrats Suck and it is not understandable if none of the restricted items leaves your boat.
