- Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations can be dangerous and deadly. I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure especially a mine or cave without proper safety gear and experience. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, I seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.
You two bringing this lost history to our eyes is beyond amazing. Thanks for allowing us to experience Anthracite's past history, and my family's roots.
I really appreciate all your efforts.@@577buttfan
Epic shot of you climbing out of that portal man. Thanks for the sweet footage of all the cool items left behind, enjoyed this one to the max !
Thanks brother..this one was spooky man!
@@577buttfan Thought that was soooo cool when it came time to close and seal up the mine they decided to use one of the old coal carts to block up the entrance way. Outstanding !
Yeah I thought it might have been part of the door but it does look alot like a buggy.@@milemarker_oscar_mike
Love the old bottles🎉🎉
I couldn’t read them. Were they from local dairies?
@@samanthab1923 yes. From what I've seen in past mine videos
@@davestrang8585 Thanks, my son collects them 👋

@@577buttfan Thank you!
I wish I was younger and known y'all when I used to go to Pennsylvania, so that you could take me to one, explored mine just to stand and feel its history.😔
You got to check out one of the three tours here! They're fun! Easy too. They ride you in on trains!
@8:15 WoW the colors are insane 😲
I get the feeling that is part of a massive mine and DEEP. Lot's of loose stuff, little sketch! Probably not a bad idea to place a couple ropes as the hike back up looked like one nice shift and you got slide, yikes! Awesome explore though, really distinct.
Like I usually say, not waiting till Sunday for this video.
That's one hell of a pitch and one hell of a vein. Good stuff as always, brother! 🪨⛏️🤘
6 Levels deep this one is.
@@577buttfan Sooo good. I would have spent hours in that one. Depending on what's collapsed, it's probably a return visit situation.
Phil walking that pipe was real sketchy 😮
That did scare me 😮
And I thought the sandstone top down here in southern Tennessee was bad!😂
Kudos to you guys pushing over that insane breakdown!
We have A LOT of bad sandstone down in these mines too.
Its crazy when you think about how much abuse the top and bottom rock goes through in these places.Bad enough blasting through once but coming back again to rob the pillars and roof, thats nuts!Imagine standing around the corner as that massive rock fall happened. I bet the whole slope shook! These men where the toughest people!God Bless the coal miners!
Thanks for the anxiety attack when you climbed on the pipe, Phil lol Nice find guys
man !! i love your adventures and awesome places and treasures you find, but honestly when you go into these places that haven't been seen in many years how high is your worry about collapse or sudden slide from your moving around in there ? I'm sure your safe as you can be and know what your doing, but the risk factor has to be high ? I think i would be nervous every creaking or cracking noise i heard lol.... anyways thanks for taking us along, very cool brother
The cities & out amongst the people worry me more than the mines anymore personally...
This one had me a little worried brother.Rock slide was on my mind a few times.Gotta stay low and near the side, tread light and feel with every step.It looks worse on the video than it really was. Also Phil has a pretty good eye on whats going on with the roof and mine.Hes been down in over 300 holes.
the Messiah came to rescue us from ourselves, brother. you got it, and most thought He was comin to take out Rome
Awesome explore ! Stay safe, guys !
I found that exact same tiny glass bottle in a gold mine in Idaho. Now I really want to know what was in them. Maybe medicine of some kind, little tablets? I dunno, it intrigues me.
Maybe for holding old matches. I've seen that before. They'd light the old black powder fuses with naked flame matches.
I told Phil it looked like a cyanide vial, thats why he gave it to me lol :)@@AnthraciteHorrorStories
@@577buttfan Nitroglycerin bottle dude..... 💣 💥 😂🤣
Thats what it was I bet lolol :)@@milemarker_oscar_mike
Guers dairy still makes milk today. Those bottles were from milkman days though😂
I saw I was saying it wrong after i cleaned up the bottle..Delivered to your door. How bout that lol :)
Looks sketchy!
Very!
@@577buttfan Sketchville, POPULATION 2
Holy cow...wait, you mean I'm first? How did that happen? 😂
