2019 Lexus ES 350 F-Sport - Baby LS Wants Younger Buyers
Vložit
- čas přidán 6. 06. 2018
- For nearly 30 years, the Lexus ES has consistently attracted luxury sedan shoppers wanted comfort, space, and value. Over the years, Lexus followed that same formula and the result in the best-selling Lexus sedan despite its very humble FWD Camry based roots. For 2019, Lexus hopes to inject a healthy dosage of youth to the mix with the very first F-Sport ES. It takes the sleek design from the flagship LS with nearly as much rear seat space as its much larger sibling. The 302 HP V6 still drives the front wheels, but the result of the new GA-K platform makes this 2019 model the sportiness ES Lexus has ever built.

The ES is crazy reliable. My friend's 2005 has 300,000 miles and has had extremely limited maintenance. It has never broken down and still feels like a new car...
Wow. How many times did they replace the tires?
THANK YOU for mentioning that it takes regular gas! No one ever mentions that, really appreciated.
Macho Chacho it does not take regular gas
theyre all the same motor in the 350s and they all want premium. i get better gas mileage with mid personally but they definitely want premium
Premium recommended but it will run perfectly fine on regular
Saleswoman told me it takes regular.
BOBBY MAY how you get better gas mileage with mix blend regular and premium? But not with straight premium?
This car is so GORGEOUS 😍😍 this is going to be my nursing school graduation gift to ME 😊...white with the red interior 💟.
Same 😍‼️ although I was thinking maybe this year when I graduate with my associates
Congatulations!!
Do you boo
I got a renta-lexus when my car was in the shop, they gave me a ES300h it was surprisingly quick for that it was. They are solid, and eats all the shit roads where I live with ease. You can't go wrong with these cars at all.
Did you get one?
You're right! I'm a single 43 years old and I'm already in love with this car.
Thanks for all of the hard work, very much appreciated! I remember when we were lucky to get a video once a week, now you pump them out once a day it seems. Keep up the good work and don't over work exert yourself.
These have been catching my eye everytime I see one driving by. Always amazed how a Camry/Avalon looking ES from a few years ago, now looks like this!
Will always love the ES series since it was my first car, so it makes me excited to see an F Sport version! Love everything about this car! You are also filming this in my hometown so I think it’s a sign I need this car 😉
My life is like that grill: Intricate L's
LMFAO deadass 😭
You taking L Brah......
😭😭
Ooft
LOL
I think Lexus is doing a FANTASTIC job with their interiors. They’re so unique compared to the compared to the competitors. Lexus is still actually integrating the nav screen into the design of the dash instead of carelessly sticking it there (Cough cough, BMW/Audi/Mercedes).
The gauge cluster and placements of the drive dynamics select are also really cool.
Scott Watkins Careless wouldn’t be the term I’d use. I think the Europeans prefer that tablet-like positioning over the seamless design. Audi does a better job w hiding it into the dash though so it’s not as bad I guess. I have to agree I do like the way a screen looks when it’s nicely integrated in dash!
Compilation Corner exactly!👍🏽🇺🇸🇯🇲
lexus car interiors are looks good on reviews and picture but they are not reliable and scratches very easy alo Lexus seats are not comfortable spatialy IS NX RX models
I gotta say the newer Lexus interiors are cheap and lack understated elegance. Most ES interior color combos I've seen are either dark and cold ( grey/black combos) or make you feel like your inside a Reese cup ( brown/saddle brown). The lack of wood trim completes the horribleness. I have a 2008 ES with almost 300K. When it's time to get another car, I'm looking at used Lexus' because those interiors haven't been cheapened out.
Amen!
Thanks Sofyan! I'll do my best to put up a nice review like yours when we get these on the lot in late August!
The last ES never was on my radar...but they’ve really shaken off that “old person” car feel. F Sport package is the way to go!
As always great review!
Love how this guy reviews everything about cars.
When you said "right outside of Nashville" I was like wait.. I thought I saw you filming over by our stadium lol. We are setting up for CMAs this weekend, so enjoy the festivities if you are staying for the events! Another great review, thanks for the great work, Sofyan
Truly the best auto reviewer on CZcams. I have learned so much about cars thanks to you!
hey man ive been watching you for years now. I remember when you first started making videos. and I'm looking at your progress and 1.5 million VEIWS MAN you've came a long way and i am proud of you. keep it up man
Best car reviewer on youtube, you’re so detailed with it. Im really thinking about getting this as my daily driver! Cross shopping with the 2019 Audi A4
I have been waiting for this video forever! Thanks Sofyan!
We posted one too! If you have any questions let us know!! I've had the chance to get behind the wheel and this beauty did not disappoint!
I've been looking into the 2019 Camry XSE but after seeing this review, I'm really considering a 2019 Lexus ES 😍
What did u end up getting?
@@duval3d neither
If u have $10,000 extra then go for it.
Fantastic looking car in all angles, really well designed. The cabin/dashboard and various functions along with Mark Levinson audio is superb. Good on Lexus for keeping physical buttons/dials when a lot of makes are over-complicating things and putting them in the sub-menu system in the computer screen. Wow still a CD player.
The color of the seats is just amazing.
You’re awesome Sofyan! You are really good at what you do! Keep up the awesome work!
This is my favorite Lexus of all time! Thank you for reviewing this great car so well!
You literally are looking at the heated seat controls while stating the dont have physical buttons
This color combination is perfect.
Dark chrome wheels, Ultra White paint with the Red interior
Scandalous!
I’m really starting to love this car. Great Job Lexus!!
Have you seen our video? Subscribe to our channel and keep an eye out for the official release date!
Great review as always! I’m really considering going back to Lexus (my first love as an enthusiast & first lux as an owner was the ES) except for the horsepower. For now I’ll stay with Infiniti but LOVE what Lexus has done with the ES.
Although it does remind me of the Mazda 6, it desperately needed the dope styling cues that the GS and LS received; love the direction in which Lexus is headed.
THIS is the review I’ve been waiting for sooooooo long time thank you sofyan,
By far my favorite Lexus this year model. It’s like the IS and LS combined
"It makes more power... one more horsepower!"
Damn Sofyan, you got me hyped for nothing lol.
I love this Lexus, maybe I will get one, if I hit the Austrian Lottery Jackpot. And I still enjoy, listening to CDs, no Ripping can compete, with the crisp and clear sound of a good old CD.
You make excellent vids and reviews!
In great detail. I never seen this much in-depth detail describing this car. great job.
This guys reviews are hands down INCREDIBLE. Not gonna lie after watching the vids for the Camry, Mazda, Accord,,,,,This is the one for me, that interior is just gorgeous, the exterior isn't to bad either....So yea in 2 years I'll pick one up for about 38k or so fully loaded. Thanks Redline!
2 year old Lexus ES in my area go for around $23k. That's about 20k deprecation in 2 years. I'm going to do the same, always buy used
Dude, you are hands down the best reviewer to watch. I’ve been following your channel for a couple years now, and your content never fails to impress! Thanks for all you do! :)

LEXUriouS Kirk Ditto!
Another great review what else can I say you’re the best.
Still driving my 2007 ES350 with 200,000 miles and still quiet, smooth and reliable.
Great review as usual. One thought I had was about CD players in cars... Most people I've asked still want that feature... even my 17 year old son still wants a CD player. I say keep it up Lexus... different can be good.
The reason is has a CD player is so you can take advantage of lossless audio for the awesome ML system. Audiophiles love that, and it was smart of Lexus.
It's also has the option of being a blueray dvd player as well, who doesn't want that in his car instead of compressed files on usb's etc.
thanks Will Moon. I won't consider a new car without a CD player. Sad that many are not including this option any longer.
Pardon my ignorance, what do you mean "lossless audio for the awesome ML system" ? Please let me know ! We love learning new things from our clients!!
MP3's generally have some compression and digital noise when you listen to them on an iPod, it creates little artifacts and distortion that you can hear especially at high volume. On CD's there is no compression or loss when they're pressed, so you don't have those little distortions at high volumes. This is why all true luxury cars should still have a CD player, especially if they have a nice sound system.
ok willie
Looks like an amazing car! Thank you! I bought a 2013 Lexus ES 300H and love it. First time Lexus owner. I’m hooked 🤩
GREAT review thank you. Keep up the nice work!
I use cds bruh. Playing that tupac in my 4runner 3rd gen💪
Aye
Hit me up 2pac
Too soon for CD player to obsolete, maybe another 10 to 20 years
Black Whirlwind Say that again
Facts
I recently bought this car and it’s my new daily driver.
Loved that new design and power but I still love my 2016 ES 350
The interior is absolutely amazing I love it
Master in cpr
Nice review. Have you gotten ahold of an LS yet? I still use CD’s for my favorite artists; can’t beat the sound quality.
Well done and informative vid. I still like that it offers a CD player, I'm old school I guess.
Nice car!
Love how it rises and lowers on engaging trans. And the door knob illumination upon approach.
Great video. Very detailed as usual. Looks like a fantastic car. Will look out for it in the UK, although we will only be getting the hybrid.
I like when he says “it’s the same damn car”😂
I feel like every luxury cars has to have ambient mood lighting. It really looks amazing at night in Mercedes and bmw’s
Alpha Tarawally yeah i agree, i have a lexus es and i want ambient lightings in it too
Idk I for one find ambient lighting childish/cartoonish
Zibby H okay then a get a car without one
@@tarawally65 that's kind of what my commebt implied lmfao, same way your comment implied every luxury car should have that crap
Zibby H you implied that it was childish
Best review ever on the Fs ES 350 🥳..
I love my 2016 LS, but this ES looks great too!
I love this car. Have you guys seen the herringbone wood and kierko glass stuff in the LS? Exceptional. Lexus is doing some super unique stuff and actually showing a cool bit of their Japanese heratige.
Lexus isn't overboard with anything. Pure class and indestructible quality in a world of ridiculous multi color mood lighting in a Mercedes.
I subscribed redline because of that driving part of the review
Amazing detail , exactly what I was looking for
This would be such an awesome road trip car. I'm actually really like the new ES which is something I didn't think I'd ever say.
Keep up the good work redline reviews. You're the best car reviewer on CZcams.
aayan goverski *ur. Lurn too spel dumass
White Mail Privilege You overdid it
White Mail Privilege what do you mean? Excuse me, don’t call me a “dumass”.
Thank you for showing the CD PLAYA!!! Some people still love their CD`s
Thanks for this review. You have changed my mind ,because I was stuck on Toyota Avalon XLE Limited 2018. Now good Lord you have me going on Lexis ES 3500 because it take regular gas. Yes I have to have this..
I currently own a 2013 Lexus ES and this video definitely made up my mind to trade in for the 2019 one until i saw how they redesigned the middle console like Toyota. Not a fan of that look. But the car itself is hands down gorgeous! Great review!
Dang love the moving ring in the instrument panel like the LFA!!! That’s detail. Mercedes owner here (E-Class) and I’m very tempted.
I really love new Lexus interior~~!!!
That LFA style gauge is amazing!
This will be my future car. I got 2011 Lexus ES 350 and I love it too
Nice in-car camera work!!
I always use the CD player in my Toyota. Please don’t stop adding this feature, Toyota!
Could you include a coffee /donuts holding capacity in your future content; at the end of the day that's what really matters. Great silky smooth engine description
Great review as always 👍
Great reviews as usual.
This amazing Lexus worth every penny if this car is not enough there is nothing out there will satisfy you thank you Japan 🇯🇵 for giving us the best as usual the best of the best quality value reliable we all trust from LEXUS. Thanks 🙏 Japan 🇯🇵
14:46 haha i love the way he said that "ONE more horse power." LOL
I like the tachometer changing colors in sport mode. Shoot I'd always put it in sport mode to get that white tachometer, its cool how it moves over to the side like that
All the best Sofyan!
From Jordan
toyota becoming lexus and lexus become more luxurious...
yet, Lexus is Toyota
@@icey8816 innnception
It's the same company, just the different version of cars!
More like Toyota becomes a luxury brand, and Lexus becomes non-luxury brand, I mean, no rear heated seat and no 360 cameras? Lexus no doing ITV job as a luxury brand, both features are available in Toyota brand cars. Also, I think Lexus should just get rid of touch pad, just make a large touch screen like other luxury brands.
@@blackwhirlwind1245 The 2020 model now has both in the ultra luxury version.
Can’t think of the last car on which the boot chrome strip looked so good 👍
This ES look very handsome in person and the 3/4 view from the front look best.
Thank you for the review.
would love to see a test drive of the 4 cylinder .. if possible please?
Very detailed and complete review Sofyan, thank you. For me, that touch pad is a deal breaker. Potentially very dangerous to use when driving. There still seems to be this disconnect between people who design these things and using them in the real world.
I hope you can do the 2019 Toyota RAV4 soon 👍
I have a 2013 ES350 with only 36k miles, this F Type is a looker... Love my ES, no need to upgrade, certainly doesn’t make financial sense..
Great review!
No AWD, no sale. As always great work Sofyan.
Really my biggest grip with the new ES.
It’s the backup camera... why doesn’t it take the full screen?
Best looking car I've ever seen 😍 👌
Ikr
Nice review as always! really like this car compared to the previous gen.
Looks like my 2013 GS F sport. Nice car
Such a nice car
i wish i could’ve afforded this 😭 this is the EXACT car i wanted. white f-sport with red interior. but my 2019 camry xse v6 suits me well 🙂
What was the price difference?
Shotty McThotty $38k for the fully loaded XSE Camry. $46k for the ES 350 F Sport.
Simmer Pete damn I would still try to get the Lexus, btw Cars.com has the Camry XSE V6 for 31k out the door and the Lexus also has some good discounts, check it out
Regular gas sounds good to me! Im saving up for this baby. It will be good for work driving
Well for me as a young driver im looking into getting the Lexus GS350 F Sport but at the same time I do like this car as well because I want thing I love is the sound system like shoot 17 speakers with 1800 watts that's impressive
First ES that would ever even get a second look.
I got a 2019 Camry 1st time buyer but forsure going Lexus as my next car!
How much is insurance for a first time driver? And what's the best auto insurance
My next car. And I’m only 35. I love this car. Very reliable
Love the Lexus!! Top luxury selling brand!!
This is one amazing Lexus and they will sell a lot because it does the job well it is not all about turbo or how fast like German cars it’s fast enough it is maybe 2 second slower than other competitors but it has a lot more like looks quality and resale value and deribelity and lexuery more then other competitors and the name Lexus is enough speak it self A reminder Lexus owners are loyal to the brand Thanks
It would have been good to point out the extensive additional structural bracing visible in the engine bay and also the reason for the lack of rear seat fold down. Great review - as always.
Is there a reason for not having the seats fold down? Sometimes the headrests that are not removable Don’t make it practical. This has the center pass through like my Acura. It would be nice to have the rear headrest removable for visibility and have the seats fold down though.
@@sc666666 Yes. For 30 years, the ES has always had an added trapezoidal brace behind the rear seatback, and only a ski pass-through as a result. Evidently Lexus feels that luxury sedan / sport sedan buyers value the ride, handling and NVH benefits of a stiffer chassis more than cargo versatility. Of course, the Germans deliver both, but they have dedicated luxury-car chassis - Lexus's ability to build their car on humble family-sedan bones is why they can deliver a price advantage.
It time to upgrade to 4K@60FPS. Great videos by the way.
EXCELLENT review! Turned 72, young enough?? Have the 2017, should I trade up?
I’ve always considered the ES as just a Camry with a suit and tie , but now it actually looks really good , if only it had an AWD option
Bro you are right ES is a button camry point blank bring back the GS.
Nice car! And, I like the fact that Lexus STILL includes the CD Player in its vehicles. Some of us still have extensive CD collections which we enjoy on long trips. I, for one, could care less about Apple Car Play, or Android this, etc. Just personal preference. Nice video!
#facts
Excellent point.
Me too. Only because CD has a higher quality in sound than Bluetooth streaming.
Sadly, only Subaru still offers CD player on all cars, other mainstream brands are moving away from CD players.
I was surprised when I picked up my 2018 Audi S4 and I saw a multi disc CD player in the glove compartment though I'm ashamed to say I've never used it
Great review about the new ES. Let us know if you will end up reviewing the new ES 250 all-wheel-drive. I’m in the market for an ES and I’m debating in between the two.
What a beautiful car !
