We recorded this 4k ultra hd video during our trip to Positano, Italy on October 2021.
Positano, also known as “the pearl of the Amalfi coast” or "vertical city", is a cliffside village located on the Amalfi Coast to the South of Italy. The village became a wealthy market port of the Amalfi Republic from the 15th to 17th century and has only continued to grow in popularity over time. By the mid-nineteenth century, however, the town had fallen on hard times. More than half the population emigrated, mostly to America.
Positano was a relatively poor fishing village during the first half of the twentieth century. It began to attract large number of tourists in the 1950s, especially after John Steinbeck published his essay about Positano in May, 1953.
The town's rapid growth from a small fishing village to an international destination is credited to the rise of the tourism industry.
Our guided walking tour is about 2.5 miles (4 km) long and covers most attractions and historic sites of Positano.

This a very good presentation. It's nice to see how Positano looks in October. I wonder if the ferrys are still running in October? It's looks as if the Marina Grande beach is made free at this time. No private section . The walk to Fornillo beach was superb. Coming down the narrow street from the pyramid side was awesome. I enjoyed the tour. Thanks.

Very nice walk. I've been down almost every street with the wide range of Positano walks, and it's always nice to see a fresh perspective. Just curious what the temperature was on that day. I see people wearing light winter coats as well as people in bathing suits. Lots of jackets and pants, but lots of tshirts and shorts! Very confusing!

The beginning of this video is a one-way street, and reminds me of a street in Laguna Beach CA called Temple Hills Drive as you turn right from Thalia Street... if they made it a one way.
