Honestly for the Nintendo Switch you should’ve just asked for game recommendations.
If your goal was to play on your own NO ONE would’ve told you to buy party games like Mario Party, Mario Kart and Just Dance. These games are literally meant to be played with others, at a gathering or online.

Animal Crossing alone would have made you love the Nintendo Switch. I've had one for a while and that is the first game that has made me go, "I love this thing."
I'm so addicted to this game! Love it.
Idk... I play AC sometimes but for me it's just a bit boring after a while. The fishing and digging are super frustrating because it's hard to aim exactly where you want to target.
And it's just a SUPER slow paced game in my opinion.
I still play it sometimes but I get a LOT more enjoyment out of other games, such as Legend of Zelda.

I didn’t use to play video games at all, until my husband bought a Switch and taught me how to play Zelda and OMG I got so addicted! There are several games nowadays that I love, you just gotta find the right game to you. The Mario games that you bought are more for playing with friends rather than by yourself.

There is a negative correlation between interest in kitchen appliance and gaming consoles. After a certain age, my interest also switched from games to panini machine, waffle maker, air fryer, instapot, fancy fridge, and super automatic espresso machine.😂
Edith I love my kitchen stuff, I actually have the same panini grill that she showed and I LOVE it. I do understand that video games are not for everyone, but I does seem that she went on the Switch vibe without much search. It’s a very expensive purchase, my husband has loved video games for years and years and he searched to see if there were enough games available on the Switch that he would wanna play before buying it.
To be fair Zelda is one of the greatest games ever made and the Switch game is stunning, good choice, I would buy a Switch just to play Zelda.

I feel like Shelby is still really responsible with money! She just bought a house with her sister as an investment, plus you also have to realize that she probably has a very high income, so these purchases in the video won't make that much of a difference

Girl! My Nintendo Switch saved my marriage! My husband and I were getting on each other nerves so we decided we would Channel this energy into racing against each other in Mario Kart or fighting each other in Super Smash Brawl. Girl, you are in your mid 20s enjoy them Because once you are married, lots of petty talks and compromise ensue 😂

the On-Stage mic stand, it's really designed more for amplifiers and bass drums on a concert stage. They have some use as a table-mounted stand but goose-neck stands are better for that.

Animal crossing is worth the buy haha - I think the problem with the other games is that you have nothing to work towards to continue playing. A game like Animal crossing is designed to be played for a little bit each day and to work towards a goal - so honestly I would give it a try , you'll be hooked!
I actually got that OnStage stand and I really like it! The weight prevents my heavier XLR microphones from tipping over!
Your mistake with the nintendo switch, was buying the wrong games, u bought many multiplayer games, which is great for after quarantine, but quarantine is meant for single player games. So BOTW, Animal Crossing, etc. They would’ve all been great games to choose from.

In case anyone else is curious about air fryer tech, they are essentially convection ovens that circulate air faster.

I am glad that you made this video. It’s always better to do a lot of research on items and think very hard about something before making the purchase. Make sure that you are really going to get full use out of it. I was tempted to buy a gaming system. I thought very hard about it during my furloughed time. I came to the conclusion that I didn’t need it. I’m glad that I made that decision. Think before you buy something. Have a great day.
I have a heated eyelash curler for lifting my eyelashes. It takes just a triple A battery which lasts a while, and definitely helps.

I'm glad I purchased the new (Good Gather) flour from Target. This spring was a transition challenge for King Arthur Flour to ship due to increased demand from everyone deciding they needed to learn to bake at home. I moved in March & I think my old place had a bad mold problem (along with maintenance staff that was okay with neglecting any concerns I had!) In my new place I have had a lot of success making bread & pizza from scratch (5 ingredient Culinary Institute of America's Lean dough recipe & King Arthur Flour's Pizza dough) using AP flour or Whole wheat. Sometimes a mix of both. I have not tried to get Spelt floor, but my initial bread loafs where made with some old spelt flour I feared was on the way out. The lesson was the cheap all purpose flour is good enough. Bread flour is great, but AP flour is a great utility player. I still need to perfection my pastry technique. I think the summer will be time to play with pie, tart & other pastry techniques. Then see if there is a difference between AP flour & pastry flour.
Would you be willing to do a video on which desert communities are best to move to in LA county? I'm considering buying desert land to build a tiny house to get myself into California, and I'd love to hear your take on that :) I'm used to being far out in the country, not really bothered by that, but I'd love to know which communities you think are the safest, and which ones have the most to do.

I've been buying a bunch of maxi dresses on Amazon & thrilled with an alternative that's somehow both more comfortable than sweatpants for Summer and look better, too. I'm also buying endless toys for my dog to shred. He's so spoiled now, he sits where I'm storing the new ones to beg for them like treats haha
Great video, Shelby! I totally understand why you haven't loved the Switch. Mario Kart and Mario Party are really not the best games for it, especially if you're playing by yourself. I know you aren't keen on spending more money on the Switch, but you *have* to at least try either Animal Crossing or Zelda. They are both in another league compared to the Mario games, and honestly those two games are the actual reason people buy the Nintendo Switch! It seems like we're going to be in quarantine a whole longer, and with how fun those games are it is *well* worth it for a measly $50/$60, now you already have the Nintendo Switch anyway!! Much love.
