People in the weightlifting/strongman world have said, when asked, that Mark Henry may be the strongest man who ever lived. His records in all 5 lifting categories, add up to over 3,000lbs, and he's the only man who ever lifted the Inch Dumbbell.
Technically not because he never won world strongest man, however he never competed in strongman so you could make the argument that he was the worlds strongest man at the time

Heard a story that Vince McMahon tried to pull a rib on Henry. Henry was new to WWE and he would bend frying pans to show off, so Vince told the guy getting the pans to buy the normal aluminum (I think that's what it was) pans that he would bend, but then told him to bring a pan of stronger material, so when Henry got to that pan he wouldn't be able to bend it and he would look stupid. Henry bent the first couple relatively easy, but then he got to the harder material one. He tried and couldn't do it, tried again and couldn't do it. Now everyone is giving him crap about not being able to get this pan. Now Henry is pissed and tries one more time as hard as he can and bends the thing. Vince comes up to him after and says remind me to never piss you off.

I met the man, Mr. Mark Henry, at my old gym job back inlgg 2012. This guy bench's 500 plus with ease in his flip flops. Very humble guy. Had a nice conversation twice with him a year apart and I was shocked he recognized me and noticed I had gotten bigger in size. Lol it was a humbling feeling. He even recommended me some advice to see a local gym owner for bodybuilding advice. Bless you brotha.

If you're unfamiliar with his work before becoming a wrestler look up his credentials. Broke all kinds of records and is legit one of the strongest men of all time. Arnold himself said Mark Henry was one of the strongest men he's ever seen

While I agree that it would be amazing to see Mark Henry with one more title, he is actually giving back even more by doing what he is doing. Nothing will hurt his reputation or what he has accomplished at this point. Coming in and taking a loss at the right time helps put over other, younger stars. This helps get them over. One of the reasons Jericho even comes back is to help with a storyline or help get someone over because of what he has done. If you were to put a title on either of them, for too long, then it just hurts the others around them. It's one of the reasons that I think it's silly to have Brock Lesnar break the streak or sit around with a title and never show up. It's hurting other guys so much. So, yah, jobbing does have it's place. Plus he's probably getting paid more money for a lot less work too!
Mark Henry never even had a good match ever in his career. He's better retired.
Tom Tanaka Mark Henry might not be anything phenomenal in the ring (I say he's simply fine and nothing more), his promos are 5 stars. Can look at the one he gave in 2011 after he won the WHC or the one to set up the match with him and John Cena at MITB 2013 (I forget what Raw it was).

Do you know how hard it would have been to twist it above the counter without hurting himself from straining? There's better grip and leverage if you twist it from the waist. Try to snap a pencil in two while holding it outwards in front of your face and then snap another one the same way mark twisted this spoon, tell me which ones easier.
