My dad showed me the kof series when I was 5, out of all his daughters im the only one actually enjoyed it so I "inherited" his fav character Terry, I'm 17, 12 years later and I still can't use Terry as good as these clips, I have hope of getting even better haha

Player 2 in the first match acted like he or she dropped the controller until it got down to Terry
Its been so long since terry been a top tier character. It was so rare to see it after 98 and 02um. No one used to play with him.
Yes man, SNK should do with Terry the same thing Capcom does with Ryu, not always the top tier but aways a competitive character

The only KOFs games Terry was a strong character was in 97,98 and 98UM. In 02UM he's a normal character, Rank B.
What are you talking about??? Terry has always been a top tier character in every game he's been in. He is one of SNK's biggest characters if not their biggest character ever.
@@DragonHeart613 What game are you specifically talking about? If it is KOF games, the only KOF he was a top tier character was in 97(with the "infinite" combo). The others KOFs, he used to get rank B, C and rarely A.
As someone who is new to KOF and has always played Terry in the Fatal Fury games, this is extremely helpful to learn with.

A question for Terry players do yall recommend focusing on doing chip damage with weak P and K to set up the more stronger attacks?
low p n k is good at confirm hit to full combo because short recovery frames if u mess up then u can quickly try defend or shatter strike to bounce off the opponent away
@@mrfadzy5427 Ah I see. Mainly focus on attacks that damage but give you a short recovery window.
Yes, I do. As a Terry player I recommend you to use his weak P and K because It's pretty useful. The only problem I noticed on Terry in KOF XV was his basic combo Crouch B and A not linking with ease on down-forward C. It isn't as easy as It was in KOF 98 or 02UM for example. You need to stay closer to the opponent to work it.

Maybe it's just me but having the terry 3v1 comeback only possible because the other guy dropped their combos makes it less impressive

To be fair at this stage he is probably the strongest character in the game; not surprised here that he can make a 3v1 comeback. He was meh in XIV but in XV he's too good and too safe to play. Not criticizing at all, every character is good to play as but Terry on this one is slightly above the rest in my opinion. I think he'll definitely receive a nerf at some stage or others will receive buff.
Terry is odd and slow, also is so strange this new look for the special moves.

This franchise is out for almost 30 years, they haven't changed much and Terry is still broken tier.
Uhh….KOF has changed a LOT throughout the years. And Terry has never been “broken tier”. This is the first game he’s been really good in in awhile.

Snk tried to go with a more "drawish" art styles on the effects I think, though it stills looks pretty bad, it is at least acceptable, it's probably going to receive an graphics update just like XIV sometime
