Cancellara was one of the best of this generation, no doubt about that, but looking at it many years later, it still looks... weird... Boonen even mentioned he didn't have a bad moment... and if Boonen didn't have a bad moment (during the RVV, his peak condition of the year)... nobody, not even Cancellara, would ride 5-6km/h faster than he would on the Muur. I guess we will never know the full truth....

That's correct. Cancellara maintained the same pace, despite the slope getting tougher and tougher.
