I spent over a week at the Grand Canyon for work and I am so happy for the experience!
I work as a nanny and went on a trip to Flagstaff, Arizona. On one of the days I had off work I left Flagstaff incredibly early in order to experience the sunrise at the Grand Canyon in an area absolutely alone from others. I truly enjoyed the experience of watching the sun rise and light the canyons below.

I know it's exciting to see them so close up but please don't chase the deer. I see a lot of people remark about the antlers but they're mostly used for defense as far as blocking and intimidation. If they're ready to fight, they'll rear up and use their front hooves. There's a lot of power behind those forelegs and those hooves are hard & sharp(ish). Enough to do serious damage. I want you to enjoy the sites, the sights and the wildlife but I mostly want you to be safe. Thousands and thousands of people around the world are living by vicariously through your adventures.

In the spice aisle you will find minced onion onion granulated and onion powder what they do is they take an onion and they chop it up and dry it and they bottle it and process . Evaporated milk is when they take the water out of the milk play slowly heating it and having the water evaporate. Sweetened condensed is similar but they add sugar during the process. And if you keep cooking the sweetened condensed milk it'll turn to Carmel. You should pick up a Betty crocker cookbook cuz a lot of these questions are in our answered in that book.

A few comments… Feel free to ignore me.
    1. Doritos are fine for nachos. Any chips you like are fine. Don’t worry about the “everyone is saying” [use plain tortilla chips] ppl on the live chat. It’s like all the “no ketchup on hotdogs!” ppl from the previous live video in Montana. It’s so stupid when ppl think the way they do something is the only acceptable way.
    2. We want to hear what YOU guys are doing in the States, what YOU like, don’t like, the things you find the oddest, the biggest surprises, etc. Ppls’ questions are great but don’t waste time jumping around reading their comments. And Sam, listen to Nadine, she knows of which she speaks! 😂😉
Glad you’re having a great time in the US. Keep trying new places, new things. Stay safe.

All that typing and could not use pEOplE? Twice. More letters used in "ketchup".
Regular tortilla chips for nachos. Mexican food, go to a Mexican restaurant. None use Doritos. Unless it is taco bell or some other American fast food "Mexican" restaurant to offer a new dish to get ppls' in because it is new, like all the other gimmicks. "Double-wrapped taco surrounded with a hamburger bun with triple bacon wrap" or whatever ridiculous s*** they put out these days. Heart attack.
Go to any mid to decent Mexican restaurant. Not Doritos. But, to each their own.

@@curtiss22 The “ppl” thing was an automated replacement I didn’t catch. But your reaction to it was perfectly normal - for a psychopath with too much time on his hands. Also, you sure typed a lot about how to eat nachos to end with such a cowardly, disingenuous “to each his own.” Obviously you don’t think that or you wouldn’t have written what you did. Thanks for proving my point as to why you food Nazis should be ignored.

Someday you should plan a trip along the whole east coast. From Maine to Florida. Maine is ruggedly beautiful, Vermont and New Hampshire is where you'll get some of the best maple syrup you'll ever have. New York State has everything from country farms to big city. The sheer sense of history in Massachusetts and Virginia is mind boggling. North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee are just absolutely beautiful. The Smokie Mountains are truly something to behold. There are people that actually hike the entire Appalachian trail which goes from Georgia all the way up to New Hampshire. And Florida is beautiful, with the wetlands and beaches. You may want to get there quick though because with the way things are warming up, a lot of Florida maybe underwater in the not so distant future. Lol

We travel back and forth between Oregon and Arizona 2-3 trips weekly, Great Sunshine ☀ but the AZ highways are some of the worst to drive an semi tractor trailer combination on! Try running from Phoenix up US 93 Wickenburg, Wickiup to the 40 to Kingman, Boulder City into Las Vegas's usual ongoing construction but heading north to Creech AFB/Indian Springs on US 95 are better road but long distances through Nevada Badlands of puckerbrush desert but rustic mining towns of Beatty, Goldfield, Tonapah, Mina, past Hawthorne US Army Depot and Walker Lake towards Fallon and Fernley you finally find civilization once more!

Oregon and other Northern Regions have much larger Deer 🦌 Species than you are accustomed to Nadine, we have Elk herds and the larger Bull Elk are enormous sized and quite dangerous. They migrate at night across roadways. Even Mule Deer are huge but usually in Central and Eastern Oregon. Don't forget about Wolverine and Badgers are mean and vicious.

I lived in Peoria AZ for 20 years -- you would enjoy Prescott!! The downtown is like an old western town and there is a bar there where Wyatt Erp and several others have been - it's called Whiskey River Tavern .... the entire main street in Prescott is called Whiskey Row!! Lot of history there! There's also Old Tucson which is touristy - BUT it is where a lot of western films are/were made!! They re-enact a shootout etc.. There's some really good food and I really think you all would enjoy it -- we would go for the weekend when we lived in Arizona! Get this - I've been to the Grand Canyon several times but NEVER when I actually lived in Arizona! I know right! LOL There was just so much else we wanted to do - did a LOT of camping in Prescott - almost every weekend in the summer just to get out of the heat!!

Funyuns are good. But i like the flaming hot ones. Also it would be cool to see some of Atlantas kitchen vidoes while on the trip, especially if you make the food in the states you dont have on the map yet.

Australia trip would be great visit both east and west make sure to visit Melbourne and check out there fashion companies. I live in Santa Rosa, California taxes here are 9.25% sales/use tax that more than S.F. the state tax goes from 0-12.3% plus 1% more if you make more than a million, the property tax for the state averages 0.71% Sonoma County where I am is 1% maybe !.1% or 1.2% there is also CRY recycling fee of 5 or 10 cents on bottles and cans like soda and juice. CA and Hawaii are suppose to be the highest taxed and most complained about cost but tend to be the most desired tech filled beautiful states and most diverse. Hope you got to only western White Castle in Las Vegas and check out gun range maybe and or fireworks store. I am not sure the rules for non-residents but play some lottery at least scratchers if you get low amount you can get it on the spot. Have fun hope you enjoyed the trip, can not wait for your return.

When you're back in L.A., please try to find a Claim Jumper restaurant. When I lived out there, we used to eat at the one in Buena Park, and the food was fantastic.
