Zero RB is a VIABLE Draft Strategy (BUT ONLY IF DONE RIGHT)

- People get big mad about zero RB but if all of these conditions are met it can be viable strategy in your fantasy toolkit:
1. Your league overvalues RBs, so valuable WRs slide, you're zigging while everyone zags
2. You draft WRs/QBs/TEs & Flex players through round 7-8
3. League format is PPR, 4+ starting WRs between WR spots and flex, QB/TE premiums also help

He got lucky on getting unknown backs that a team turned their season around. This won't work 90% of the time.
Every ppr league is going wr heavy now so theres a ton of value in some of the rbs being pushed down
In a league market like that, you likely don't want to go zero RB
I used the zero RB strategy for the first time ever in my Superflex dynasty draft last year. I focused on stud WR/TEs and young upstart QBs and it worked like a charm. I'm in good position to take my league in year two because the QBs hit (Fields & Lawrence).

Notice that he also drafted two QBs back to back in round 5. I wouldn’t sleep on that strategy because QBs score the most points in your lineup, and you can dominate your leagues total points
In best ball i don’t mind that because the aspect of choosing which one on a per game basis doesn’t matter, but in managed i definitely would not take 2 guys that early
@@FantasyStockExchange For sure, I was talking strictly about bestball. One of my favourite strategies in managed is draft an elite QB so you don't have to roster another

I had to use that strategy 12 team single quarterback I took Travis Kelce number one overall I wanted to grab a running back at the terms when it came back to me I did not want to reach for a running back so I didn't get one to the 5th and 6th round everybody loaded up in the first two rounds so I went wide receiver
Careful, Zero RB strategy usually dictates you skip over RB entirely until you hit round 7+
this stratgey would be good for my league..my league is full PPR, 2QB's, 2RB's, 3WR's, 1WR/RB Flex, 2TE's, 1KR (kickers lose points for easy misses too,) 1DEF (def gets points for everything, including 3 and outs, 4th down stops, tfl's, yardge etc.)

Did it last year and worked out until Kupp got injured & Adams sucked late. To stressful I'm taking 1 early this year and no Kupp!!

Tbh this year is the opposite. There are so many rbs to be had later. Antonio Gibson with beinemy, James cook, javonte Williams, Kamara, David Montgomery, all viable rbs typically available after round 6 or 7

Yup this a year where many running backs are trying to prove their worth to their team. This is the year for backs.
Zero RB is playing not to lose instead of playing to win
Those guys will never make it to rd 8
The key is identifying the late round steals this year, obviously you won't get the same exact ones
