Hey everyone this was taken from stream the other day - my updated Branded Despia Deck Profile post phni - I know I made a deck profile last week but things have changed in my build so I wanted to update you guys with how the format is shaping up and how we're adapting as branded players to it.

You know what's funny, I tried to test out branded with the new yubel cards and while it wasn't optimal, it was just a funny way to use branded banishment and banish all of my opponents monsters to summon Yubel. it was pretty funny.
honestly thats the best application of yubel in branded ive heard yet lol
A couple of cards i would recommend looking into would be deck lockdown and performapal five-rainbow magician
Lubellion only plays into Droll if you search a Bystial with it. Just running a single lubellion in the deck can save your other light monsters from being dumped to the GY, aswell as trigger Albion the Branded during ep and get to Lost from deck naturally, saving your jade banish as a disruption rather than a combo piece.
What about maining that shaddoll fusion package? Breaks alot of boards going 2nd on its own...i've been playing a 5 card patchwork engine in my last build, might just swap it for shaddoll fusion this format.
How do you feel about the Duality-Dusk Dragon-Dragoon combo? It makes Cartesia quite useful..
I mean Omega + Nadir is something to consider for going second.
What do you think about replacing thrust with crossout for budget? I watched your budget vid but i'm not a fan of big decks, so Ive been going with your last recipe with the exception of that change.
ill have to update my budget build but yes crossout is just fine and is arguably better this format

The shaddoll fusion tech is a lot better in chimera since it can dump gazelle and chain block the Ariel while getting access to your engine though it. So when siding it in. You can afford to cut out engine like coatl since you have a stronger method of searching it

I honestly think Soul Release is better. it gets rid of your opponents resources permanently not just for 1 turn and does basically the same thing
The gravekeepers trap is active for two turns
Bro everybody plays ghost belle it’s definitely not going out of the format
I basically said you'll see less ghost belle and more blowouts like soul release and gravekeepers inscription so you'll see less belles and crows. Which will likely be true with people choosing those cards over a simple belle or crow
I honestly don't think I'm sold on taking out Bystial package, and still playing lost with only 2 quem especially. You lost ALOT of lines to brafu, but more importantly to me, your lost is kind of just a 'I hope I draw it or aluber + fusion or im never gonna see it' type of thing and lost is the thing that really pushes pure fusion branded decks over the edge. I think you at least should consider running saronir, and 2-3x shroudion, maybe 3 cart but 2 is fine, since that line gets you to branded fusion and still plays under droll.
I do think I might put back in the bystials. I just want people to be thinking outside of the box, me and Chris Lofton are on the no bystials build and were finding a lot of success post PHNI with it. Still something to consider it's just most times you want sanctified.

That's fair but in a droll format you're gonna look silly resolving it and getting drolled
I had meant to say patchwork more so then the nadir package
But I agree , I Just like being able to hard fusion with albaz in hand
