- Two men suspected of slashing two other men at Boon Lay Drive were escorted by police officers to the crime scene on Friday (Apr 8). The duo were arrested on Thursday afternoon after a one-day manhunt.

2 days ago, these 2 were holding the parangs walking so 'proudly' after their slashing, now looking at them being cuffed on both ankles and hands, what were going thru their at that moments? Still feeling gung-ho then and regret now? too late....sigh.. sad for their parents. but the law has to inflict the maximum sentence on them, no pity, as the victims could have died.

Singapore is ruled by stringent law and order which treat all the people same without racial and religious distinctions. If somebody breaches it, they have to give the price bcoz Singapore legal system will do its duty.
This reminds me of the recent case in malaysia, of a woman killing 8 teenagers on the highway..6 years of prison.

It's unfortunate that young people as this for example do not send a good message to their cultures and young people,sometimes these friendships in these groups are put under so much pier pressure to be or show acts of violence to be approved by the group they are in,that's the problem when acceptance becomes a norm in committing an offence as it's a normal pattern of behaviour,individuals must learn to question their freinds actions and in time to change that behavioural indifference or simply if no one is listening walk away,that is more courage than a callous crime that ruins you and your standing in society.
