i can not understate how perfect this guy is for arsenal. Technically gifted, clinical shot, great passer, high iq player, has the height. hes the perfect striker for what arteta has been building the clubs playstyle around.

I'll explain why.
He will come against so many mid and low blocks when he plays for Arsenal. Like Gabriel Jesus and Trossard, he will have to play with his back to defenders in big games and with his front to two blocks of four versus small teams.
He will shine in the odd match played on transitions here and there but ultimately, he will flop.
He doesn't have anything special that we don't already have in the squad but I'll tell you what we need, physicality PLUS clinicality up front. We need a player that combines both even if the conversion rate is not so good. Any player that can hold his nerve to strike a ball clean after holding off a marker will do well at Arsenal.
Zirkzee will do well for a Villa or Brentford or Newcastle where smaller teams open up to them hoping to get points. But not at a big team.
Remember Cody Gakpo? He's not really lighting it up at Liverpool is he?
No he is not, Arsenal need someone like Isak or Gyokoros who can put the ball in the net, already have enough players to do these link up and skill moves
Arsenal need some one like Benjamin Sesko or Dusan Vlahovic but playing Havarz in the 9 role I don’t know what the plan is not more

Sure, you could make the argument that we might be better off with a more traditional striker, but thats wouldnt complement the players nor the style of football arteta is building at the club. Arsenal doesnt buy superstars, we make them. A goal thristy striker isnt good for the way our team plays, we need a dynamic player that not only thrives in goal scoring scenarios but also is able to play our style of football. Zirkzee is that guy.

Gli ultimi 2 campionati li abbiamo vinti con i capocannonieri sotto i 15 gol, dipende tutto da come è impostata la squadra, noi giochiamo con 3 trequartisti che vanno tutti in doppia cifra quindi un attaccante da 15-20 gol andrebbe più che bene...nessuno può sapere quanti gol farà, ci sono attaccanti che fanno 25-30 gol ma le squadre in cui giocano non vincono niente (vedi immobile o higuain con quei 36 gol storici), ciò che è sicuro è che uno come lui migliorerebbe anni luce il nostro gioco offensivo, benzema ad esempio con cr7 segnava poco perché doveva sacrificarsi, ma il gioco che faceva per la squadra era fondamentale... è da prendere senza pensarci, di 9 così tecnici al mondo ce ne sono ben pochi e nessuno sicuramente alla sua età

To be honest, for some reason there seem to be many skilled Dutch players appearing left and right, not just in the Netherlands, but also abroad, and others finally improving themselves....Xavi, Jeremie Frimpong, Jerdy Schouten, Quinten Timber, Tijjani Reijnders, Joey Veerman, Mats Wieffer, Teun Koopmeiners, Bart Verbruggen, Quilindschy Hartman, Micky van de Ven, Jordan Teze, Sven Botman, Noa Lang... we might be moving towards a golden generation, but we do need another one or two top strikers.

great player with great skills but I definitely don’t think he’s got the killer instinct a striker needs. much more suited as a modern, physical number 10 (like RLC at ac milan or kessie before him).

his technique is superb. He shoots his goals with skill and finesse instead of pure strength. When I had to find a point why he didn't make it at Bayern it's his dynamic. For a young, wiry player I expect him to be really be energetic. At Bayern I was missing this to an extent. But you could see already his big talent when he was at the ball, playing always the right opening passes and the ability to hold a ball and being calm before the goalkeeper. Abilities that not everyone has at such a young age.
